I love Ryan's blueprint on taking CT trades as well, but I'll only take them if they are 100% perfect. I know what you mean too brother, it's the hardest easy money you'll ever make. That's a fact.

I do the same with most of my charts that became Vegas day. Those are the ones that we all dream about lol And yeah for sure, start posting them up...it gets boring talking to yourself for the most part. If I didn't like my company, I wouldn't be in this business though.

It looks like most of the Jpy pairs are changing direction here as the other pairs are running out of steam too. Aussie is looking kinda dead in the water as well, I'll have a better chart of it in 30 minutes. BTW, I just hopped on the short train to 76.00 from 77.32.

Just exited the eur/jpy for a gain of 120. I'd rather have that than lose it to a retracement.

I also took a loss last night on the cad/jpy. I didn't post about the trade because it was insta-loss for 40 pips down and I was heading out the door. Everybody takes losses, minimize them and your golden.

Well this one ran quick. I've just exited at 76.20 and plan on re-entering again higher up. 112 pip profit.

Lots of moves on the 4 hour close at 2. I set up trades on the aud/usd long and the gbp/chf long. Aussie is already coming up on it's target and the gbp/chf hasn't really moved at all yet.

Scratch what I said earlier about wanting to get back into the aud/jpy short earlier, I wouldn't want to now in the least.

I may be reversing this aussie position yet again here before too long and taking a loss on this one...bummy but oh well, today's still been a heck of a gain so far. It all depends on how this hour closes as we are still in crunch time for decision making.

EDIT: Alrighty, price is looking good now, the reason I was really looking at it was that this may not have just been a retracement and rather a continuation of the bear flag that is showing on the hourly.

Shoot, yesterday was a pretty tough day with that aussie trade. It ended up closing at a loss of 50 pips but the moves were spetacular across the board last night. If I had been awake to take advantage, they would have net a few hundred pips today. Now I'm just waiting for the next setups because I got some much needed feedback from the market.

Not much went on today. I took one short on the chf/jpy earlier for a gain of 35 pips based on the hourly charts. There hasn't really been anything looking good on the 4 hour at all today annnddd so we wait!

been playing around with trading the small timeframes off the big ones, but was having a hard time with what to look for and how to use it in application.

Today was a fairly nice example:

Didn't quite go 2:1 on the H4, M15 had an early pullback that isn't necessarily a great pullback trade but did get in between the 10 and 21 EMA (the very first pinbar is something else I've been noticing but haven't seen a consistency to it), and the M5 not an A+ pullback and the pinbar leaves a little something to be desired but it's a starting point.

How was the kayaking? Hope the weather is treating you good out there.

Charts are a bit of a mess atm but I've taken a long on USDCHF, we'll see how that works out. Got a few mins so will post a couple of charts and I know this is good in hindsight but I was watching the GBPJPY all last week. Daily PB off a previous weeks high, weekly/daily trend down, price likely to go down even if the 1H chart looks bullish. PB doesn't break hard to start with but can't breakout to the upside. Finally theres a PB on the 15 min off old weekly high and TL then it goes - TP at bottom of range (131.29). I missed this bad boy, was at work but managed to get into one of the retracements. Opportunities galore when looking for PA at the daily/weekly TFs and drilling down for a low risk entry. I take quite a few losers but never more than -0.5R really, there is always a runner around the corner.

That was great analysis on the gbp/jpy my man! I like seeing what I had planned play out correctly even if I wasn't in the trade as it's just more of a boost to my experience. Kayaking was fun for sure! It's nice to get out from civilization a little bit lol How's everything goin for you brother?

25 pip loss on the usd/chf and a 25 pip gain on the aud/jpy. Cut them both off because this last hour's close was against both terribly.

10:35 AM, re-entered another short on the aud/jpy at a better price.

I got it on the usd/chf short based on the lower timeframe charts but I took another loss on the aud/jpy so I'm sitting at -20 on the day as of now. I'm waiting for the 4 hour closes now to see where price is standing.

Yeah good mate, managed to get out for a few days over the weekend with the better half. Nothing as exciting as kayaking though, won't be long till its hot here again so will venture out a little more then.

I killed that USDCHF trade at the same point, also took a minor loss on AUDJPY on Monday so looks like we are looking at the same setups mate. Bit of chop so far this week but am long NZDUSD, at B/E so hoping to see some bullish action at the London open. Like you say we have periods of getting taken at cost, need to keep participating as the next big trend might be around the corner.

I like the look of EURGBP, 2 Day PB off 61 FIB and major PPZ, looking for a retrace and PA for a low risk entry rather than having a big stop. Might miss out might get lucky. Same sort of thing over and over.
