FxCompass it's good to see you posting again. As you can see I have been experimenting with different ways to trade. What do you think about this trade setup!

Nearly finished the house move.

Looks like the 100 break is valid especially given the cloud is well cleared.

Upside trade to the 161.8 extension looks on.

You could have made money at the 1.382, or 1.618 or the 2.000 today on the 60 minute chart. After the penetration of the high there was a small pull back before it hit all three targets!

I setup a trade on the Gbp/Jpy on the 60 minute chart and I think that my Sell target was hit a few minute s ago.

I'm not showing exactly how to trade this, but maybe this will help you all see where this idea goes on an hourly basis.

If you look at the candles on the example.

1) trade to 138
2) enter 1 position
3) enter 1 position at 61.8 and 1 at 38.2 inner fib lines

This example looks easy but only because there was a new cycle starting on the swing I pulled. So don't think you can pull like I did here. You need to learn the flow before you pull a fib.

Remember when I said watch when REAL S/R is broken? "Pin Bar"?. Pin bars are...

Here's a dead giveaway setup appearing on the EURUSD. Courtesy of Greece economic worries.

UPDATE:A bit of pin happening to take out the daily pivot so we can go down...

I just wanted to let everyone know I have started a thread over in the journals section. My intention is to use it strictly for dicussion of 4 hour and larger fibs as they apply to the methods outlined by Skunny and ThomKnight. These larger fibs seem to be the easiest to screw up so I wanted a place that we could put our heads together and hopefully agree on the proper placement.

It is not intended to replace this thread.

For those of you that are new to the Skunny/ThomKnight style of fib trading, we use the larger fibs as a "framework"...

Watcha compass. How's the move? We're still at the Factory but at the above thread, you are very welcome of course.

MD.
Keep smiling

I'm pretty sure Thomknight is Skunny anyways..He's been giving away all the trade fib super special 'secrets' that if known would cause havoc in the world markets

To say Skunny is a fibber is an understatement.

Scotty , Scotty...

If you have nothing nice to say.... say nothing at all !!

Your frustration in being unable to SEE what Skunny was pointing out is obvious,
you will need to resolve the anger before you can SEE clearly.

Good Luck
Craig

Tell you what Egg,

One day you'll realize that fibs are a royal waste of your time. When you do, PM me and I'll redirect your attention to things that make sense, and will actually help you.

The funny thing about this thread is it's grand illusion--the one started by Skunny himself. It it GENIUS marketing. Make no mistake about it, Skunny isn't a stupid guy, and it could be that he actually thought he had something at the get go, but as time will teach all, the approach doesn't hold water. This is true because the method (like most TA) is not based in reality.

Remember the time I put up the same chart that Thom posted of a particular fib 'setup?' My MT4 bucket shop data was different than his, in fact, on my chart that 'trade' wasn't even there. His response was pretty much "if I see it, I trade it." I got a real kick out of that and still do, someday you will too. Hmm, nice rhyme. Anyways, my point is that there is nothing to see "clearly," as you put it. How can there be? Especially that pip perfect nonsense that was pushed in the early days of this thread.
