I am a rock head by nature, but I also love classical/orchestra music.

Combine the two... and we got something nice...

Hi,

Usually I hear techno & some top dance music to get the rythm. But if I feel tired I move to classic music.

Sorry not trading on Britnay would blow my trading karma.

I ususally used my I tunes to listen to my music collection. But I've noticed that when I've made certain types of trades the music that run in the background would get associated with the prevailing mental state during the trade.

E.g. If I missed a trade and felt impatient, starting to take stupid set-ups, I would associate that emotional state with the tune that played at the time.
Next time I'd hear the tune thse emotions of impatience would creep up.
I think they call it "anchoring" in NLP.

Hence I switched to iTuens radio and always listen to something else, though often I tune in to Ambience Groove. Nice and chilled.
Be like a post stamp! Stick to it until you get there!

Try some binaural beats - they exist for about every purpose.. to make or keep you alert, or to calm you down, put you to sleep or whatever.

(I do not listen to music while trading.)

I usually listen to Doom or Ambient while trading - it calms me down and prevents from making fast decisions. This music is really great for listening while trading. And organ music also goes well, especially after having a little bit snuff for cleaning your thoughts.
