My 2 cents on Brokers.....I have been trading for about 4 years and have used most of the well known brokers...i.e. GFT, FXCM, CMS, Interbank, FXDD, and Oanda. At times I had 2 account running at a time for backup purposes. ....I have had great problems with the Meta4 on the FXCM account....I'm using them now....but constantly have problems with orders....today I lost 64 pips because I could not place the orders I was trying to, and so while on tech support...all the trades I wanted trigered and hit my profit targets with out me. Also everytime I call the order trade desk I get put on hold...or they get the account number wrong and ask all these questions while your trade is going south....by the time they react your really in bad shape.....and tech support never know what the problem is and always call back with appologies, but no answers. GFT was good but spreads were bad and doing multiple screen was very limited. what it comes down to is the one with the best spreads, Oanda ...although the platform is some what basic.....not as robust as MT4...it works great and the trade entry and management is best of all. I trade naked so I dont need a robust platform that does every indicator in the book with lots of e.a capabilities. Tomorrow I will be closing out my FXCM and returning to Oanda. I recommend you at least go to the web site and read up alittle.

yeah I've been looking for 'the' broker who will get my business for some months now, I currently have fxcm, ib, alpari and dukascopy on my desktop, but have tried some other brokers as well.. But I'm really liking dukascopy, yes I am biased to it since one of my 'mentors' recommends it to me because of low spreads, very rarely slips, and the feed updates like a ferrari compared to a skoda. It also shows market depth.

Saxon... I see from Shahab's thread that he is already short G/U. Did you also already enter a position?

Hmmm. I'm sticking to my guns on G/U and E/U shorts where I indicated my sell orders are at previously.

Also, on A/U... it is highly likely that PA will hit the 8725 area again but then bounce back up to 8800 in order for the 50ma's to cross the 35sma...it's a little trap that I am used to trading and thought I should share.

They're just a little "clearer" when using TL's and other line based measurements (at least for me).

Oanda actually has weekly P&F charts for most pairs on their site.

Ya, I'm still a ways off from my target. Might get a swing down before getting up there. I'm just waiting for it. Not in yet

Saxon, I saw on the other thread that you also noticed a possible HNS on EC, If it manages to get above the BRN then we possibly have some big support under us

if the current consolidation breaks upwards, then I will be moving my SL to 1.3403 and lock in 1:4 RR, and give the pair a shot to break the BRN
