Not too much. In my experience, you'd be supprised how long the markets can act irrational. But....I don't know if this is an irrational market. This could just be a slow recovery from the end of last year, or a very slow recovery from 2008 (probably not...if ever). That is why I don't get too set on overall direction, and place targets above and below and wait, because who knows, this could be just a small correction before EU 1.00 Also, there are varying degrees of "bad news". BP not being able to cap their mess in the gulf and less than stellar fundie news are far different than Greece flushing the Euro down the toilet (which I think the market overreacted on), and the market Sh*t in 2008.

For me, I just am just pulling my charts out to H4, D1 and Weekly and finding tartgets that, in the word of Ronco, I can "set it and forget it".

I completely agree and trade the same way...just irritates me that the fundamentals don't play more of a role than they do. I guess it would make trading a little easier imo.

For USDJPY i see Buy trend that tell me Hilo also good sup-res line and next stop for buy i see not before 89.70-90.00 but we will see,this is just my options...

A/U... the new daily piv levels are out... The new D R1 is 8885 and that 61.8% Fib level is 8882... I set a sell order at 8882 with a stop at 89 and a 1st TP at DP + a few (8840). If you need me to explain further just ask!

Well looking at the daily it looks very short, just a sucker bull run for a couple of days then down again.. and if it goes below 88.00 I would not be surprised to see 86...

Moved my BE to 88.52

All I can say is "trade what you see". Don't try to guess the direction. I have orders above and below current PA at S/R's and critical MA's. I do not however believe that PA will break 8965 at the first hit since the 200sma is there on the Daily chart. That would be the safest place to put a sell order at. The 365sma on the Daily chart is at 8415. These two MA's are closing in on one another so the range is getting smaller and smaller everyday. Eventually it will have to go above the 200 or below the 365.

At the moment the 21ema and 35sma are crossing on the H1 chart. I suspect that PA will move down to at least the Daily S1. There also seems to be a lot of bearish sentiment after today for the S&P so A/U may get dragged down with it...if that's the case I would have liked to see a nice bearish candle up here but I don't see one. All of my charts indicate further gains. It is what it is.
