Tau, I would like to add that I am seeing positive things. I am just a little slow at following up. I watched the jpy sell off with a nice signal. Too bad I didn't take it. lol

I changed the color of the background for my eyes. Added weekly pivots as I am hoping our friend can alter breath of currency so it doesn't overload my brain. Oh yeah, the stoch was added.

Nice

Good day to you, Mr.Bronson

I am glad that you see potential. Screentime will either convince you or tell you that it's not worth your while. I believe that, over time, you may spot those " high probability" setups that fits in with how you view the market.

Anything you see that might have been missed, let us know.

Wish you success

Regards

Good day to you,

This was not really a trade done on the merit of the indicators, rather by another observation playing out regularely.

Started placing shorts as we continued into a cluster of channel Resistance. Stoch also going into "oversold". The main catalyst for me taking this trade, is shown in the line chart. The 1.5200 level has not really been broken until now.

More often than not, price will move through an important level to come back to retest first before proper continuation. It looks like this is the case here - but my nerves...

Good day to you,

Mental I am already...

I only do that on higher probability setups ( as I personally see them) - if I am not sure, I will only enter 1 position. It however is a practice I need to curb / kill.

It WILL cost me -

Thank you for the comment. I need to slow down.

Good day to you,

This is a continuation journal of the previous one started, where I investigated and attempted to trade cycles. The main reason for the new journal, is to get things organised and concise.

Moving Averages are still used as the "heart" of the "system". I have however decided to apply Volume to Weighted MA as the driver. Applied with a simple trend indicator, it is very possible to scalp successfully as well as get into longer term trades.

Now - we know that MT4 volume indication is far from ideal - some may say it is total...

Good day to you,

Happy it worked for you. I am still looking to see where the almost "non-brainers" are hiding amongst the debri.

I have a tendency to believe it sits with multiple timeframes.. looking into this.

Keep chipping away

Good day to you,

Thank you for your introduction. Since you are starting out, I want to ask you to study the following threads:

http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=243587 read what Stocky is doing and how he reasons - a lot of good there.
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=156630 read how Wormboy reasons - see what he does - a lot of good there.

If there is one indicator you can take with you from this journal, ot would be the "Breath of Currency" indicator - gives you a lot of information that you can use.

Hope this assists you

Regards and good luck

Good day to you,

You do not have all the indicators in your "indicators" folder. For the dots to show, it needs the TMA indicator and the T3 indicator. Download these again by using the PAPERCLIP icon in the top right corner of the thread.

This should solve your problem.

Good day to you,

Some reading whilst we are going nowhere slowly...

  1. SOCIALISM: You have 2 cows, and you give one to your neighbour.
  2. COMMUNISM: You have 2 cows. The State takes both and gives you some milk.
  3. FASCISM: You have 2 cows. The State takes both and sells you some milk.
  4. NAZISM: You have 2 cows. The State takes both and shoots you.
  5. BUREAUCRATISM: You have 2 cows. The State takes both, shoots one, milks the other and then throws the milk away.
  6. TRADITIONAL CAPITALISM: You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull. Your herd multiplies, and the economy grows. You sell them and retire on the income.
  7. SURREALISM: You have two giraffes. The government requires you to take harmonica lessons.
  8. AN AMERICAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You sell one, and force the other to produce the milk of four cows. Later, you hire a consultant to analyse why the cow has dropped dead.
  9. ENRON VENTURE CAPITALISM: You have two cows. You sell three of them to your publicly listed company, using letters of credit opened by your brother-in-law at the bank, then execute a debt/equity swap with an associated general offer so that you get all four cows back, with a tax exemption for five cows. The milk rights of the six cows are transferred via an intermediary to a Cayman Island Company secretly owned by the majority shareholder who sells the rights to all seven cows back to your listed company. The annual report says the company owns eight cows, with an option on one more. Sell one cow to buy a new president of the United States, leaving you with nine cows. No balance sheet provided with the release. The public buys your bull.
  10. FRENCH CORPORATION: You have two cows. You go on strike, organize a riot, and block the roads because you want three cows.
  11. JAPANESE CORPORATION: You have two cows. You redesign them so they are one-tenth the size of an ordinary cow and produce twenty times the milk. You then create a clever cow cartoon image called 'cowkimon' and market it worldwide.
  12. GERMAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You re-engineer them so they live for 100 years, eat once a month, and milk themselves.
  13. ITALIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows, but you don't know where they are. You decide to have lunch.
  14. RUSSIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You count them and learn you have five cows. You count them again and learn you have 42 cows. You count them again and learn you have 2 cows. You stop counting cows and open another bottle of vodka.
  15. SWISS CORPORATION: You have 5000 cows. None of them belong to you. You charge the owners for storing them.
  16. CHINESE CORPORATION: You have two cows. You have 300 people milking them. You claim that you have full employment, and high bovine productivity, and arrest the newsman who reported the real situation.
  17. BRITISH CORPORATION: You have two cows. Both are mad.
  18. IRAQI CORPORATION: Everyone thinks you have lots of cows. You tell them that you have none. No one believes you, so they bomb the **** out of you and invade your country. You still have no cows, but at least now you are part of a Democracy.
  19. WELSH CORPORATION: You have two cows. The one on the left looks very attractive.
  20. AUSTRALIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. Business seems pretty good. You close the office and go for a few beers to celebrate.
  21. BELGIAN CORPORATION: you have two federal cows and two regions. Neither region can agree as to who gets which cow, so both cows are sawn in half.

Good day to you,

Maybe you have a limited edition MT4... just kidding

The only thing I can see, is that the TMA ( triangular MA) is saved within your indicators folder under a different descriptive name. You have it under " TriangularMA%20centered". This is not the original name of this file - this may be the reason.

Remove it and change the name to match as per the original name. Then load.

but i hope you can add something like "toy for PRO"
i hope you can add in breath of currency
there is 2 kind:

1] the lowest and the highest for last 24hour = last 24bar in h1, 48bars in m30, and so on
make a resisten and support line base on percent
from the last 24 hour lowest 0.5 1.0 1.5 2.0
from the last 24 hour highest -0.5 -1.0 -1.5 -2.0
it change every new bar / hour, so we can see the limit

2] zz style = just like in the picture, i calculate my self, it this case 1.5% from the lowest
it use zz to make resisten or support

i believe my picture speak for me, in this picture its static, it start every 8:00
by doing this you will see more clear about the moment of the price
