DislikedHi,
There are some fundamental questions I suggest all of you to consider :-
1 - How do you reconcile the 2 positioning systems, i.e. geocentric and heliocentric. Obviously you have 2 centers in these 2 systems, and coordinates tends to converge for planets that are further away from the Earth / Sun.
2 - If you use aspects, then think about this, does that mean a particular aspect i.e. your 45 / 90 / 120 / 180 etc affects all asset classes at the same time? The effect could be up or down, but from what you guys have been discussing so far, you...Ignored
DislikedDear Astrotraders collegues,
first of all I wish to thank you for your contribution to this thread. I study astrology since about 20 years but just recently trying to link my studies to the financial world.
So, I also wish to thank Vic (Bumasoft) for kindly sharing some of his astro indicators and I just want to share with you my template.
This is a 20 years weekly chart of EURUSD I just setup with the following indicators: I choosed Mars aspects with Jupiter, saturn, uranus, pluto and chiron (in each of the subwindow, respectively) plotting...Ignored

the chart looks simple enough to grasp , assuming the spikes are the opposition of the planets (180 aspect) , but how do u interpret it ?
there seems to no consistency at the aspects , or did i miss the 'meat' for the 'bones' ..or the alignment u have observed ?
ur 'nudge' will help in interpreting the charts better .
thanks .Ignored

DislikedJust because, like exactly your Venus study, it seems to be more interesting from a statistical and practical point of view.
I can't assign the same importance to a moon aspect (say Moon-Ura) and to a medium planet aspect (like Ven or Mar).
Also, considering synodic periods, these two offer a higher frequency of aspects during the year.
I.e.: we can't wait for events like a Jup-Sat conjunction only. It takes place every 20 years!
Sat-Ura? 45 years
Nep-Plu ? 492 years only.
Maybe these figures are not so common and not into possession of...Ignored

If I may chime in - you might want to use such aspects as alert to some major turning point or significant movement.
It is recommended to use your own system of technical indicators to take trades and not on planetary movements alone.
The movements and positioning are good alerts as context, but you find entries based on your technical indicators or other trading system.Ignored

He also used planets moving into other zodiac signs. The Sun is a very reliable one, when it changes sign markets will move.
Anyway, that is why I choose venus. For short term I plot the mercury and moon channels. They are also very reliable.
