thanx to uset JUSTME we have now a realy nice indi showing osma and macd from 2 tf on one window
here how it looks on my 5m chart
on m1 also look great !

its realy nice becouse on the web i was unable to find any mtf osma
and this long term osma was not realy mtf it was just close to it

all 3 files must be in indi folder

hey bbolss,

I want your opinion on an indicator, I've been using a scalping indicator that really helps to determine entries and exits.

Take a look at the image i uploaded, the indicators seems to grab about 80-90% of the trade.

What do you think?

I've attached the indicator if anyone wants to try it out.

where did you find it?
here is modded version by me with disabled alerts - deafoult alerts was on with no posibility to change it...
i have exam on monday
but on thu will check it

Forex Trend indi is worthless. It repaints several bars. When indis look great it is because they repaint.

As far as I've noticed it doesn't repaint, i could be wrong! but please do test it on a demo first if you want. I found it while using another system, somewhere on ff. I will also test it a bit and let you know what I found.

yeah, I've noticed that. Nothing in Forex is ever too good to be true, if it looks perfect or close to it, it usually isn't. I will test it and let you know

Set Forex Trend to inputs-period to 5. Backtest on 5 min frame and buy and sell on close of candle everytime it changes color. It never loses.

Forex Trend repaints like crazy mate, I remember using it a year back.

Given that your previous post stated that the Forex Trend indicator was worthless, is this latest comment "tongue in cheek"?

lol Well, actually, I was explaining one way to test if an indicator repaints without the market being open.

yeah, your absolutely right, it looks to repaint about 3 bars. oh well, scratch that idea.

I was just thinking about alf alert, it looks like alf alert watches alf line on whatever timeframe you have the chart set to, after I enter a trade and close 1/2 of the trade after +10 pips, i will switch tf to M5, and have alf alert me to when the line is crossed for a possible exit signal.

This can be useful for anyone who doesn't want to watch the trade all day.

If you take the break on the first bar above or below alf with ss agreement, you usually can pull some pips.

Exactly! The indicator was making me crazy. I love the ALF indicators. I’m just using those with Heikin-Ashi bars instead of regular candles. Some people say they’re lagging. Maybe so but maybe that helps keep me out of bad trades.

I was wondering how you know when to close some of your position and let the rest run until price action hits alf M5 line? Do you automatically just do this with every trade, or is there something in particular you look for?
