Letting the trade play out as per plan is a very important part of successful trading, and it can get real tough if you're constantly hovering over the trade with shaky hands ever willing to manipulate the trade and manage it differently and supposedly more efficiently.

$1000 a month? if i live alone & dont rent, i can use that to live here for about 4 - 9 months
(well i maybe an outlier since i can handle money well)

depending on your taste, lifestyle & personal circumstance, one can live off of $100 - 500 a month here. NO KIDDING!
for an individual, $300 - 1000 a month here is very comfortable living already, imho.

so, any other takers & contenders

I have been buying up rental properties in my small home town and my brother manages them (he is a very good handy man).

Anyway, in small town USA, we are buying nice houses for $30,000 and fixing them up a little. Bought a 5 bedroom house for $45,000 a few years back.

You can live cheap here too, but the women make it expensive. Avoid the women, make a few million, then buy a trophey wife or go overseas to find a great foreign woman.

That is my plan.

Hi, I thought it's time I introduced myself at this end of the thread (in line with the early post of saying "read lots at the front, then jump in at the end")

I've been toiling through the first pages of the thread, taking copious notes, and I must say that finally (after a period longer than I'd like to admit), in price action, I think I've found the strategy that resonates with me.

A question: when defining a DBHLC, is the "lower close" lower than the close of the previous bar, or lower than the low?

I do have one question, for anyone on this thread...

I passed on the Outside bars formed on Tuesday this week (7/6/2010). The reason I passed on them, is they were "Outside" of the 7/5/2010 holiday in the USA.

I don't regret passing on them, I had my reasons, and I feel they were good.

For those who took them or didn't take them, did you take this into account? If you did, did you feel that PA was too powerful to let this slow down a good enough move to get to BE?

Just wondering and thank you for all your help.

lol can't beat that!

Can't also beat the fact that your homeland's home to my favorite snake ever! (see below). I remember when I used to be at bob clark (snake breeder) forums we had this crazy guy from Manila, and damn he had some killer retics, ones I could die for , and they were wild caught and locally available to him.

Thise figures are slightly out of shape. a US$'s about slightly above 85 PKR currently...

I am not sure if you mean for example the gbp/aud. But if anything the reason above is a better reason in my mind. If you have a bunch of slow days you get a range. Then you get a sharp breakout and a false break in one direction(sucking in the weak players) and then you get a strong move the other way and close below that range.

haha. coincidentally, 2 days ago, we caught/killed what i believe is a baby retic. it was caught inside our house (seem to be living & moving to&from the kitchen sink & refrigerator).. ah there's more...he has a sibling, which we havent caught yet (living in the same area).
i live in a 'farm' now... yes, snakes are found here & in the wild. they come out specially during summer. i believe my relatives even caught/killed a Philippine cobra/spitting cobra a few years ago. (u must be by now, Ghous lol)

here, we have dogs, cats, guinea pigs, a few types of finches, mayna, love birds, & nearby there are chickens, cows, goats... lol

AUDUSD h4 heavy divergence + lots pf indecision bars+ multimonth (3rd kiss) + perfect butterfly = short from here or wait to break .8650 level?
