I put this post because I'm happy that it ended by this way.Yes, I use that template, but this should be a demo account, as this is not my style of trading.This is highly risky pure scalping (too much lots and too small number of pips), too much risk of my account.Please, do not look at this as a good way of trading, a good thing in all of this is that come summer holidays,cos I am overtrading and need some rest.

Here one bad trade.
Long entry at yellow line.. I know, it is a counter-trend trade but I was looking for few pips.

This question is for MissPips.
I looked to the previous posts, but could not find it. As far as T3 indicator that puts a coral of other time frames on a 5m TF. I believe a 900 setting is for 15 min coral. What are the settings for 30m, 1h and 4h?

when I entered the divergence was not clear, about FPV.... I gave to it little importance

(I have to add that I am a little impulsive)

I saw THV setup, broke of a little trendline and enough space from the upper Trendline on my chart.

Hi, the TRIX is an oscillator

and like many oscillator it can show you momentum, the bests entry points (when fast-trix cross slow-trix); divergence (often followed by a good momentum); oversold & overbought periods (when PA may reverse)

the downward white line on the chart and the upward white line in the Trix window show you a divergence

Now everything is starting to make sense, I was also using the v3 but now I updated to the v4.
In the v4 I don't have the white line. I'm using the 1thv4mtf template and thv4 trix v.1 indicator, is this set up correct?
Is the PA the blue cloud or the trend change?

The one min setting is 60. So it's tf* 60 (i.e for 5m it's 5*60= 300, for 15 min it's 15 *60=900 etc.)

.7 is like V3, 1.2 is like V4. You can use whichever you like, I look at both a fast and slow set. If I already have a lot of confirmation from about the higher tf trend from the rainbow I go with the faster set.

Those white lines was drawn by hand, I suggest you to learn to draw it by your-self, this image come from THV3 manual:

First i want to thank the hall Thv team and every member posting heer in this thread.I have read a big part of this thread until now ( 600- 700 sites)
and i get the feeling of understanding whats going on.
Also i think i can thanks from the hall thread poster in a gearman forex board where we have an wn thv thread an try to improve our styles of trading Thv.
I trade thv for a few weeks and i think i foud a littel bit my own style.
Now i would like to ask you to comment this style and mayby show what could be better.
I have n M5 and M1 open just trade in the direction of the fast trix of m5.
On m1 i wait until all my 8 Mtf lights go on green or vica versa for short.Then i wait until fast and slow cross and pass the zero line.Then i would enter if there is no resistance.
I use the v4 version of the first page with the change of the auto timeframe from false to true by one of the mtf with 4 lights.I use eur/usd eur/jpy aud/usd gbp/usd as pairs.

I get my pips thats ok but it seems i miss a lot of pips.How could i improve this to catch these pips?
Hope for any ideas or comments

Trading 1M and 5M waves in a 4H trend gives you good chances to be on the right track, 30M and 1H charts should warn you early enough that a possile trend change is on the plan. Than stop trading and sit on the hands till you see a new trading direction.

Sometimes I have a trade 30 points against me but as long as I see that the 4H trend is alive I'm quiet and stay with it, if not - well you know what to do.

Did you leave trades opened for more of 1 day in loss waiting for green pips?
(if your H4 trend agree with you)

Do you suggest this kind of approach?

Generally I use a 15 - 20 pips Stop Loss and if PA reach it I'm out

40% 50%, it is like this because often I take to much risk (like the last trade I posted)

the hit-rate is important togheter with reward:risk ratio. I can have 33% hit rate and a 2.5/3:1 reward:risk and it will give me profit, or 66% hit rate and 1:1.5

My general trading method consist to find good entry where the PA may move a little more than 20 pips.

If the trade is the good one (and you taked it when it started), even a 5 pip stop loss is good, because PA never will retrace to that level (so 10 or 15 pip of stop loss are enough)

I must add that I'm not an expert, I'm not still ready to trade live, my general problems are impulsive trading and not fixed rules rather than stop loss / TP / entry / exit
