i have some problems with instalation...
after istalling ver 6 or 8th same problem
when i try load template system just freeze with blank screens and some alert but window is not responding so im confused

both EA in navigator window are grey

The grey EA is normal for this version. Just launch the template THV EA 1.11 or attached to you own charts and Click the "Expert Advisor" and you should be good to go.

There is no LotMultiplier as in THV 1. If I set LotPercent = 250 and MaxProgression = 3, will THV1.1 only use LotPercent (2.5 times) after a loss trade is closed as with martingale in THV1? I figure it will use the LotPercent even after a profit trade which is not what I intend.

Hi there,

Starting with the settings posted by Tread (thanks Tread) and adding some "no entry" if the PA is too close to any S/R and/or Pivots (10 pips), I've been testing the EA for the last 2 weeks (the 1.1 rlz).
Here is what I've noticed :

1) I got more good signals than wrong ones but...the loss (wrong signals) is much higher than the gain (good signals), so overall my account balance is going south.
2) Most of the wrong trades the EA entered were because of a proximity of the weekly pivot (more occasionnaly the monthly pivot). Indeed, the 1.1 rlz does not handle weekly/monthly pivots, so at many occasions the trade was triggered very close to a weekly pivot and then the price reversed.
3) Another source of false signals is the MTF Trix Histo. Indeed as we work on higher TF than the 5 min, this indie repaints. But the number of wrong entries because of that remains very low so far.
4) Proximity of key MAs are also a source of wrong signals. PA very often reverses at those levels.

So, my conclusion is that if in the next rlz, support for weekly/monthly pivots is added (and may be a few MAs), the EA will probably do a good job, at least fiting my trading style.

The Next release (July31st) will incorporate:

1.) Weekly Pivots
2.) Laguerre RSI
3.) Damani Volatmeter v3.2
4.) Additional ADX Settings

On the matter of the repainting, this is purely visual, the calculations are handle internally by the EA and the results are based on the values at the time.

Also make sure that the Trix and Trix Hist are all sync'd with the same Hot Value.

I'll give it another try early august then.

And Tread, Xux, don't want to push you too hard but if you add the weekly pivot support, please add the monthly pivot as well...I guess that should not be a big deal, some kind of copy/paste of the work perfomed for the weekly.

0 is for slow yes.
If your EA signal is not in line with your graphs, check the settings of the indies in your template, there are probably different from your EA settings.

Couple of things:-


You have specified other entry conditions that need to be met before opening, see highlighted above in your set file.

You have Coral and Ichimoku as entry, along with the MTF (other time frames), for the present time frame aside from the Trix Cross you have to wait for the price to cross the cloud and coral by the pips you specified (red arrows)

On another note, 100m1 should be 100M15
XUX, Thead,
V1.1 provides traders with many more controls but imho removing martingale is a mistake. Given its winning ratio of 3-4 in 5 trades, martingale is a vital tool to recoup the occassional losses. Please do consider bringing back martingale in your next release.

Yes it’s good to update the EA with new more functions, but I think that it’s more useful to create, to find a profitable setup.
I'd like to see your statement if you can.

I do not trade the EA real time. I trade the thv system manually. While i have had some good success with the EA, it had been short term, hence the reason i am adding more features to the EA.

Hi Tread,
First, thanks for continuing the development of this EA.
Could I ask you if there is any programming reason that the EA can only execute one trade each way per candle? I have read that this is "to prevent multiple trades", but in my opinion the way to prevent multiple trades is by adjustment of the input parameters.
The reason for asking this question is that I would like to use the EA on the H4 timeframe, but currenty if the EA opens and closes a trade in the first 10 minutes of a candle, the EA is effectively disabled for the next 3 hours and 50 minutes. Surely it must be possible to check for trade signals every few seconds and enable multiple trades during one candle.
You can have many trades per candle if you set CandleTimeFrame to a lower timeframe.
Forex-test, thank you very much for your reply, I must admit that I had missed this feature of V1.1. This option would seem to enable trades every minute on a H4 chart, could Tread please confirm this?
