Note the pip cost calculation in Yen x's at present is 1.14.....great if you are in profit not so good if you are in loss situation!

I feel fine about this.. When you pick tops it takes an investment which might not, and often not, pays off immediately, yet pays off supremely in the end. The way I figure it, if I can't see through the giddiness then the time has come for me to go snorkling on St. Kitts..

Traders bailed today knowing that the downside was temporarily exhausted.. In fact, it seems a great many have bailed, but there will not be a recovery, and risk will not mysteriously continue to benefit.

Agree with you on the recovery Pippy there is just too much "drama " in the world and not sure how it will manage to correct.Apart from all the usual suspects of debt,unemployment,housing there is the enormous sovereign debt floating all over the globe and if the shit hits the fan again (Greek default etc) the kitty will be dry

Should the doubt on the US continue the obvious choice is the JPY and CHF. Tell me one bonafide reason to be positive on risk. There really isn't one, yet the price action today "would seem" to show an interest in EUR,GBP,AUD and others..

Given the enormous pressure on EUR as of late, you could only expect that risk-short, financial behemoths given the chance to doubt and take profit, will quite rightly take profit. I see today as a re-shuffling with a volatile resumption of the downtrend..

yes and the Japanese economy is a basket case...
