Hi Tread, Hi guys,

As far as I can tell, the SRDistance, DailyPivotDistance and MinLevelDistance do not do the job.
I have set those parameters to 10 pips and orders still get open when PA is close to them.
As an example, I just got this signal on the AUDUSD :

10h45 GMT, Sell at 0.8685 and S1 is at 0.8683...so according to my settings, the order should'nt have been opened.

Same for USDCAD at 10h31, Buy at 1.0406 and MR1 is at 1.0412

Can you please check this out ? I am using V1.00

Could you post your settings or a screenshot of the setting? Most likely the problem could be with the having the correct values, especially the MinLevelDistance

Sure, here is the .set file. I basically used the one you've posted a few days ago and I have added my S/R & Pivots controls on top + changed a few things.
I am using a demo acct at FXDD, so the server is GMT +3, and graphically (using the 1.0 template) S/R levels are consistant with the ones on my live acct at FXCM.

Could you please look at the following screen shot as the EA bought(Long) yet it was on the shorting side of the cloud.

Same on this one using the STD settings as I could not get your to take a trade for 6 Hrs I have changed the TP and SL, rest of the setting is untouched coould it be that it is on the M1?

Guys

Remember I changed my Ichimoku setting to 2/2/5 and Trix to 8/14. The EA will calculate based on this. If you are using my set file, you will need to change the ichimoku and the trix on the template to sync to these setting.

Once you change, just save the template and you should be good to go.

Or change the setting in the EA back to Trix 20/35 and Ichi to 2/3/5.

On the high volatile pairs I found that the original settings are better as it smooths out the whips

Could you post ur set file? It should still take some trades, however, the settings would have been specific to M5.

how they affect the opening of buried deals?
and yet the difference in the different Take period Style?
and how to properly configure traling profit and traling loss

I have started again, from scratch. I have opened 2 pairs EU and GU and loaded one with the standard EA and one with Your settings I have also changed the Trix and Ichimoko to match your settings so all corresponds. See how we go will keep you posted.

Since loading this EA 4Hrs ago I have not had an entry but I had 6 trades on the Std setting £1.34 positive.

Ok, if I'm not mistaken (check it out), here is your .set file for 1.11. I've added S/R + Pivots "controls" (10 pips instead of 5) + lockpips at 1
Same issue with the pivots, just got the following wrong entry :

EURJPY 7h35 GMT Buy 110.82....and R1 line is at 110.89

All charts 5 minutes.

Okay, i c what is happening, I am not sure if I posted this already but:

v1.11 (the version u r using) requires a different entry method that 1.0 (the set file). v1.11 uses a 4 digit method while v 1.0 uses 3 digit, and meaning of each digit it different to each EA.

As we are constantly evolving, more efficient ways of entering and processing data was being developed by Xux.

So for example.

in v1.0 a Trix setting "100" which would mean

1 - Use for Entry
0 - OpenCandleEntry
0 - OpenCandelExit (not used since it is only used for entry)"

however in v 1.11 the same setting would be replicated as "2000"

You would need to look at my entries and convert it to 1.11 language. see below, i excerpted from the set file:-

I have your setup testing right now. I rechecked the programming code and it seems to be okay. I have asked Xux to look at it also.

Thanks I've posted a new .set file a few minutes ago. Had got it wrong with the closed/unclosed candles.
That one should mimic your original settings.

These setting are related to the ADXLevel and the various ATR settings, they are currently defaulted to 14 (You should need to change this).

Page 3 of the Manual should provide further details

With regards to the other questions, please reference the Manual the settings are explained there.


TakeProfitType -

0 means it is based on a fixed pip amount specificied under TakeProfit.

1 Means that TakeProfit value it is based on the ATR/ADX multiplier value. Basically it means that your pip profit value is dynamic to the market volatility at the time the trade in taken.

I am going to increase the SRDistance to some high value (50), ideally i should not take trades. If i do take a trade, then maybe the logic is wrong.
