GBPUSD ANALYSIS

Daily chart completed a dark cloud today (refer to yellow highlighted area) on top of major weekly resistance zone (WCR). This is a potential reversal pattern and should we get a close below CS which has moved up to 1.47245, then we’ll have confirmation of reversal. In the meantime we can only treat it as a temporary sideways pause in a bullish trend on the daily chart and therefore it gives us an opportunity to add on to our position. It’s important to note though that adding on can be very lucrative but it also increases the risk. Money management is extremely important at all times.

Right now market is piercing through CS to the downside which is endangering bullish momentum but until we get a close below CS, bulls still have opportunity to pull themselves up. WCR is a significant weekly resistance and therefore bulls will have to show a lotof muscle if they want to bust through and maintain momentum to the upside.

GBPUSD ANALYSIS

Cable gapped up during pre-market Sunday trading only to collapse and close lower today completing a bearish flip-flop and closing below CL which is @ 1.47696. This is an early aggressive reversal pattern. The main trend is still up with Pivot Point @ 1.46436. We need an open and close below PP before we have confirmation of a possible change of trend but in the meantime we go with the aggressive pattern.

GBPUSD ANALYSIS

This one has been going up in a very choppy way. So far this uptrend is not impulsive and doesn’t have enough momentum yet to turn into a power trend which means that bears could still take over at anytime – the question is when? PP (representing the main trend) flexed it’s muscle yesterday and sent the market up closing today above CL and above the high of bearish flip-flop (refer to yellow highlighted candle) putting the bulls back in the driving seat for some more upward mometum. They could possibly reach T1 and even beyond as long as market remains above CL.

Cable bulls are slowly but surely clawing their way back into the game. She reached T1 today giving us a profit on both positions. Should this momentum continue we could see T2/3 and maybe even beyond. PP has moved to 1.48552 keeping the market bullish.

Cable bulls are knocking on major resistance at the moment and it’s going to be interesting to see if they have what it takes to break through. PP has moved up to 1.50111 and as long as it holds, bulls will test T2 again and if it gives, we could see T3 and even T4. Should PP give way to the downside we could see the next push down.

FREE WEEK: EURUSD ANALYSIS AND TRADE RECOMMENDATION

Euro bulls could not sustain their move above T1 and were pulled back rather sharply, but not before activating our buy position which caused a loss for us. However, the snap-back was not able to close below the low of previous blue candle keeping market above PP and keeping bullish momentum going for now even though it has been stunted quite a bit.
