Installation is very simple per previous posts, run the installer, load the THV 1.11 template on a 5 minute chart and your done.

The "grayed shading" simply means that the EA is locked and cannot be edited. This is typical for this EA

1.) Choose several blank charts. Add the the EA to them. Observe the performance.
2.) Then, add one indicator to all charts .... observe again

At some point you will reach a compromise between amount of indicators and performance (tho it would be nice to have all since it helps with fine tuning)

dl4hao: my quad core server is using Windows 7. The Metatrader client only sees one virtual processor. The resource distribution to the processors happens a few levels deeper. So Metatrader is running on my server like on a single core server.

Tread:Gartley indi: I couldn't see that Gartley settings can be adapted in the EA. So question is whether it is used in the EA at all. If not it should be left completely. It is more part of the manual trading system. Same with Stratman MiniCharts.
I deleted Grley and Stratman MiniCharts.
Then I changed x-position settings of THV4 InfoPanel to 770.
Further I reduced font size settings of FFCal to 6.
Now the whole setup is significantly faster.

Why did you still use THV4 Trix v1.0 indicator. The THV4 Trix Called indi is the V6.01 and seems to be more stable. Why not using this ?

I also suppose that some of the indis (e.g. Trix) creates a lot of calculation effort, but also the steadily updated object based display implementation. The whole screen is very nice but is clearly still targeting the manual trading system. Question is how far the display can be stripped/facilitated according to the needs of the automated EA approach. E.g. some Comment lines using StringConcatenate in the THV Trix indi or the THV V4 info in the main window should accelerate also a bit.

Furthermore I don't see any dll related file in your extracted installer package, only EA, indis, template. So if you are calling a dll it is obviously a kernel dll coded in the EA. Meaning that copying the EA, indis and template to another client should be no problem and the installer is not needed. License.rtf is fine but the Start menu icons are "nice to have" and not necessary to run the EA.

I also recommend to implement an automated magic no. calculator. This facilitates setting up multiple currency pair windows with one template. I have a nice one I could send you using period, currency pair and EA name.

In the EA settings there are defined settings for ATR and ADX indis. Why are these indis not shown in the display if they are trade/strategy relevant ?

These setting are based on single values. e.g. a trade will onlly be taken if the ADX level is reached, if ATR is also specified, then the trade would have had to reach both the ADX and ATR levels for it to execute.

Since we only execute on these 2 discrete values there is no need to plot on map.

Hi I ran the EA through the night on my Demo on a £100 account it had a draw down of £59. I have notice the EA enters trades sometimes when the signal has passes for a manual entry lets say 6 or 7 candles later. I have used the standard settings. I will try Tread's settings and see how we go.

I have not done the backtesting it was just live testing.

Set the third digit of all entry conditions to 2 so that all entry signals should first occur at the same candle. There is no option of setting the number of past bars within which an entry signal should have occured.

Tread on your EA setting you have the following
TRADING SESSION 1 = 00012359
could you please explain when these hour are as I'm not to clear on them.My Broker is in the UK, would that make a differance.

That was just the trading time the EA should work. This was just in testing. This time has no effect on the broker, there are options later down in the settings that will allow you to sync with the broker server.

00012359 means trade from 1 minute past midnight to one minute to midnight.

Ideally you should set this to whatever time you want the EA to trade.

Also, you should turn on the screenshot option, the EA will snapshot the screen when placing and closing an order

I have managed to get it working and safe the screen shots one attached a stop out not sure if a 20 pip is enough I would surely think it is. Could be the rejection on the pivot. See how we go thanks for all the help till now.
