Nick,

You sent me the email to sell at 113.30 or 113.35 but the email was sent at 12:50 UK time at which the market was at 113.20 and never went back up to test the levels, also SMS was sent at 12:56 uk time at which the market was even lower, but you have said that you hit target, I just wondered how this is possible, I know the message on here will appear to be a good trade, but you did not say the levels.

please help.

Hi Nick,

Let me thank you for your good service as I had been observing on your calls and its reported results for past few weeks. It is therefore I decided to join your service to gain some more experience with your style of trading as it suits mine as well, making pips at the same time. I therefore joined your service last week. However I am facing some practical difficulties in getting fills to your called trades as market doesn't seem to attain these levels as mentioned in your preferred entry points or even in entry updates.

It is therefore I decided to keep a log of my trades, I am taking upon your call for the sake of my records and understanding if it is practical to take your calls and get these aimed levels for fills both for entry and TP's, SL is of course the hardest part but I am fine with it because your records hardly shows many losing trades you see. So that makes a good set of trades.

These records are in no way aimed to comment on your services that seems to be reasonable to me, rather it is just an attempt to identify if this system can be traded with your calls and aimed entries and exits upon receiving these calls, be it e-mail notification or sms as I subscribed for both.

The analysis is aimed at improving the protocol under which these signals are passed on to subscribers thereby allowing us enough time to prepare for our trades as this is the only area where I find difficulties in duplicating your trade calls Nick, to be honest. May this analysis help you and us (Subscribers) too. While I am posting these analysis below, please bear in mind that entry buffer of +/- 10 pips is already being taken into consideration and I tried to enter the trades at 10 pips compromise to make sure of the fills. Also no re-entry for trades already reached its 1st TP is the rule that I've followed, as I understood from discussions in the chat room.

Results as below:

Please note that figures in the bracket are pips reported on your website. Also since these results are posted after it is executed, I am sure not to violate any privacy policy and if it does, please stop this analysis immediately. Once again, this analysis is aimed at improving the timing with which these signals are passed onto subscribers for better preparations, we are talking about swing trades, not scalp trades, so I am sure of planned approach behind these calls.

Comments from other traders/subscribers are welcome.

#1: 17/06/2010 - Short on UC - No Fills (0)
#2: 21/06/2010 - Short on EJ - No Fills (+110)

Sorry mate but i can't find any reason for all these when i sent my calls on E/J it was on 113.30 and on my rules if you want to follow my suggestion entry its good to take them +/-10 pips around that area. Its the signal service not an expert advisor that you put on your account and let it go.

Thanks for your reply and kind concern.

Short E/J at 113.30 and unfortunately even 113.20 was not filled after your call by e-mail and sms. I truely understand that this is not an EA that will open orders automatically but then you see bro, even after sticking to the rules strictly and even compromising on preferred entry by the said +/- 10 pips, I have a feeling that it was a terrible miss on UC Short and EJ Short. I am on my PC all the time and am a full time trader trading for living, expecting better options from a good service like yours. As I can see a lot of other members also witnessed the same issue where after receiving your call, the preferred or compromised entries were not filled. Once again, this in no way is to discourage from your efforts bro, only a way to express my views by which your service can become the best I have seen so far. All I can recommend (if I am allowed to do so as a suggestion) is to have a private chat room like PalTalk or something like that. It would also justify your point where we agree on the fact that this is not an EA but signal calling service, so why not bridge the gap and make it more convenient to subscribers who depend on your calls and also making it stress free for you by calling these trades LIVE in the room (Private Room) you see, instantly and no delays, on the spot. Give it directly to the members rather than using medium where delays are unavoidable but cost too much in term of the values of these trades that I rate utmost important for me.

Nick, I am suggesting only because I see tremendous potential in your service and would love to see the association grows for longer term, but for sure not without getting my orders filled you see.

Its a signal system if you can't handle it simply don't. Also its common for my new members but time will solve everything, hope for you too.

Thanks for the reply Nick as I also hope for the same and therefore all these effort to make sure that I get a Practical Feel of how it goes when I am trading LIVE with your calls. I hope that the system works for me as well over a period of time. Finding it a bit difficult to understand as how would it matter if I am a new member or member using your services for long because I am following the set rules, or maybe I am doing something wrong. Just asking you to correct myself if I need some additional knowledge on taking your calls apart from following the rules being mentioned on the website. Kindly do not take it in a negative way because all I wanted is to follow your system with your set of rules not mine. Also repeating once again. This is in no way an attempt to discourage your services but only to make me understand how it works and what are the exceptions, you see I am still a new member of your service and therefore these questions are obvious. If after following everything, I am not there, then there must be something that requires correction and I am all yours to correct me where I am going wrong.

I have been a followng Nick's calls for a long time now. I am not a paid member of his service, just following his free trade ideas in this thread. From my own experience, Nick calls are VERY GOOD and I am very happy that I've found this thread! You can go through this thread and see all the messages I've posted to thank him for his trade ideas.

From my own experience, I have found Nick's trade ideas VERY PROFITABLE - even if I entered some of calls late, like 10-20 pips after the movement already began. I still make excellent profits!

I don't understand exactly what your problem is. Perhaps you are not using his service correctly? Maybe your forex broker's quotes are very different than his?

In any case, I think that whatever problem you have is a private issue. I suggest that you kindly talk to Nick about it in private. I have found Nick to be honest and professional. I'm sure he'll be glad to help you solve your problem.

I don't this public thread is meant to discuss private problems. It is a place that Nick kindly shares with us his trading ideas. We should all be grateful to him for doing so!

This is just my two cents. I hope you understand my point of view. Happy trading to all!

I recently subscribed to Nicks service and also had a few differences - but overall I have to say differences or not the calls made by Nick were pretty much spot on. I am not currently subscribed due to horrendous computer and broadband connection issues - but once they are properly resolved I'll be re-joining if Nick will have me.

The way I see Nicks signals is that he see's a pair running into trouble and puts out a call to say "this set-up looks good", it is then for each of us to make the best from the trade that we can. I personally even had stops in loss where Nick recorded a profit, but that was probably down to me not wanting to miss the trade and taking a somewhat less than optimum entry.

I dont see Yusaf's comments as being negative, simply recording his own performance by comparison - and that alone may help both Yusaf and others to tighten up on individual performance. I have no doubt that Nicks records are a true reflection of his performance, & I certainly will strive for something similar.

With regards to the sms signal service, something which I feel would be helpful is if Nick were to send an SMS once his own trade is on - a simple "sold GU at 1.xxxx" would I think be particularly helpful to those who join the service. It doesn't mean everyone will achieve the same, but it might help remove any doubts individuals have about the "right" time to enter the trade.

Thanks for your reply, but since 2 weeks ago, I sent 2 sms & email for a call. one when i see a good setup will send level for entry, there you can take position base on faq comments, second i will send suggested entry on that pair. so you can take position around our entry (+/-10 pips).

let me firstly say how enlightining this thread is and to see nick doing so well and consistantly. this is my first post on this thread and is meant as a positive contribution. nick appears to be genuine in my opinion and is obviously making good profit. my hat is off to you sir.

i am thinking of joining nick's service. however, i too am a newbie trader and to be honest if i pay for a signal service then i really would expect a signal of entry, trade management and exit. i'd like to learn to trade his method in time if that is on offer to optimize the calls, but until then just pointing out a setup to newbies will only cause ambiguity and bring the dreaded "discression" word in to play which will alter performance from trader to trader. in some cases to a negative tally.

at the end of the day i am willing to pay talented people like nick, if i can mirror the results he gets or as near as damn it, otherwise it's all pie in the sky and the results page although impressive becomes meaningless to the newbie. .

if i may suggest a possible addition that in my opinion could benefit all concerned and will particularly increase nick's client base -
if nick could address the ambicuity by setting up a skype/paltalk/msn room etc and have paid up members watching for when nick enters trades or manages them or exits etc (even charging an extra few bucks for the privilege ) then i'd be on board. a simple "sell xxx at xxx now!" or " be ready to take tp1 at xxx" on a chat room is in my opinion the way to go for instantaneous calls. it would also build up a group of traders who could interact with nick and each other in this otherwise lonely world of trading.

i really really hope nick takes this on board as i for one would be his next customer as opposed to joining OTHER "services" out there where my experience thus far has been that they ask for your cash and then are rather unaccomodating when it comes to ensuring you actually get what you "PAY" for or think your'e "PAYING" for, usually with aggressive, short and shirty responses to any queries or questions!

not sure i see anything wrong with inexperienced or experienced traders having their hand held if paying for a service but it does make you wonder who's paying who sometimes.

Hi Yusuf. I dont think you should worry too much about understanding his calls straight away. I got the E/J entry at 12:51 GMT and it was trading at 113.20. I could have scraped a sell there, but unfortunately i didnt get in, because i put an order at 113.30. I think because of the true rapid nature of the moves sometimes its impossible to get in exactly where Nick gets in. We just have accept it.

I think however a live chat room is a great idea, but i dont think its up to him to set this up.

Nick - I think you should change your entry should be wider. 113.20-113.40, because it's impossible to get in at the exact level, and if i'm running 80 point stoploss it shouldnt matter anyway.

Thanks a ton for your explanatory reply and comments as I hold the same respect to Nick and his services deep in my heart. The only difference is that I was extremely happy and making enough from his calls when I was a FREE visitor for his calls on this thread, you know what I mean. I had the same feeling at that time. It was then I decided to become planned to and follow Nick PRECISELY by following his RULES you see. I was not able to achieve as paid member what I would have achieved as FREE Visitor over here. If you go back in these posts, you may find I was one of the first admirers appreciating Nick's effort and his calls with his talent behind these calls. So there is no doubt that HE IS GOOD and HIS CALLS ARE GOOD. Its only that there is no time for preparation, in some cases and all I am suggesting is a better service to communicate with the subscribers directly, I already suggested one - That is my problem you see. I am telling you because you asked. I am using his services to the best of the rules being described and I bet it was not possible at all to take short on UC and EJ even with compromised entry price (You say 10-20 pips, but rule says +/- 10 pips and I would rather go by rules, you see). That is my problem. A direct private chat room would resolve these issues and it will become easier for traders like us who are serious about trading and make money from trading for living. Subscribing for any services is like investment and I have planned it for long term so that I start getting consistent returns due to my analysis on his services in last few weeks. Everyone will expect returns on his/her investment and it is not unfair to suggest stuffs that can make service better if not worse. I hope one day we reach there.

The reason of my results being posted here is (once again I am saying) not to discourage any activity though I see it in a more professional way by trying and making these services more closer to the end-users, thats it. It may help all of us to see how anyone could trade his calls keeping in mind the reaction time one is allowed to have after his calls arrive and putting these orders at his updated or compromised price. I am using one the best brokers with minimum spreads possible, so that possibility is eliminated altogether. Nick reporting his trades and members trading his trade calls are 2 different scenario. I am trying to understand 'how different' by using this exercise. This will help Nick at one end and his potential members at other. So this is not my personnel issue, no way. It is an exercise that will be useful for everyone later on. I hope you understand the idea behind it - Ideal Vs Practical scenario and then try to merge these so as to produce the same results, and all can be done by quicker, faster ways of communication - Call it LIVE like so many service providers are doing. Also how many times it so happened that Nick reports his first TP being hit and we are still at +10 or +20, but when it comes to SL we take full 80 pips. You know what I mean. How many time it happened when after his 1st TP hit, the market reverses and if we plan to wait we only see losing trades. You know what I mean. It amazes me the most to see market reacting once he call and that makes my point more strong that we need a system by which he can call his trades LIVE - No ambiguity thereafter. Hope my concern is well understood.

I understand what you're saying. A live chatroom is the way forward. I understand that if you followed the forum closely enough you have been better off, but i personally dont have time to look at the forum and so far i have entered 7 out of the 8 trades given. 6 of those winners and the last unforunately didnt quite break even. I think the fact that it said order put me off getting into the trade. If it said entry i would have been in it. at 113.15-20. Use your take profits as his levels not yours. It makes it alot easier. You wont make as much as him, but you'll still make alot. Losing 10 ticks a trade isnt the end of the world, plus his take profits arent perfect, nor expect to be.

your site is helpful - however in light of the fact that as a trader i imagine you are at the screen managing your positions, surely a trading/chat room would be the way to go?. instantaneous calls with interactive management will help clients/traders be profitable. profitable clients will ensure your client base remains and more than likely increases..everybody wins..?!

in the ideal world we could all trade as well as you utlizing your methods. however until that day it's not an ideal world unfortunately, yet we need to learn whilst earning in the meantime..

hope my opinion makes sense..
