Short Term S&R Trading

I cant find anyone of FF who does not use a bunch of indicators. So if you are like me and trade with S&R only then please discuss your trades and trading style here. I will post some of my trades as I take them. As far as my trading style goes, I primarily wait for the breakout of support or resistance on a chart with a 1hr time frame or less, sometimes a 4hr chart, then get in. I really do not play ranges or bounces.

Here is a trade that I am currently in (Gbp/Usd). You can see my S/R lines. Sorry for the crappy quality but the line by the triangle is my stop which has been moved to break even, and the line at the bottom is my TP. All others are the S/R that was broken that made me take the short.

Update:
TP hit at 1.5282 last night.

Long Aud/Jpy @ 79.36. Sorry for the crappy photo quality. Hopefully I will have resolution figured out by the next trade. The line at the top is my TP. Line in the middle is SR and bottom line is stop. Triangle is entry point.

I think you're on the right track. Keep posting your setups. Indicators lag. The only one I'd use is MA. All you need to be successful in Forex is solid s/r and an understand of PA.

Look for opportunities for high reward-to-risk.

Hi guys,

I want to use this thread to trade my S/R analysis' using pivotal points and trend lines.

My target is 2000 pips in a matter of 20 trading sessions. That's 100 pips a day.

I know it's a big objective, but I will attempt to reach it and post my analysis here before each trade.

I am not trying to hijack this thread, rather I find it suitable considering my strategy abides by the thread title.

I guess at the same time, it will allow me to document my trade setups and make it subject to criticism and opinions. Thus helping me tweak my strategy.

I will start posting as of tomorrow.
If there is any objections on the part on the thread starter, please let me know.

Ok well,

I have my first trade setup.
I am still trying to figure out the best way to relate my analysis by showing screenshots that would make sense.
Meanwhile, I can post my actual trade setups as follows:

Long trade 2 lots USD/JPY at the price of 91.55
My profit target is 92.05 and my stop loss is 91.35

Let's see how it plays out.
