hi all, m new to using this great system. i would like to know the lagure settings under the common tab. shall i check mark the fixed maximum and fixed minimum values. if yes then what value shall i type in thr. cauz many times the lines in the lagure which mark values like 0,0.45,0.75 seem to widen a lot, if i dont use a fixed value.

Hi everybody!

Pilatus, i would like to ask you, what is your opinion about the last week? As i see, there were a lot of wrong signal, the greatest trade on Usd/chf, and aud/usd were 20-20 pips (if i respect the rules 100%). A great moves was without the Trend Followera... I know it's only the last week, so it is a very shor time period, but is it possible, the forex conditions was changed?

I am here again. I red about this system a lot, but is somebody here, who can use this system profitable??? Because everybody said so great this system, so many thanks, etc..., I red pilatus comments, all of them. So easy to talking about the past... Everybody can speak about the past trades, which was the great, and why. The future is the really question... Last month on EUR/USD i dont find profitable trade with this system. There was a lot of wrong signal, the great moves was without me. Where is the 80-20 win ratio. xDxD If i trade every signal it is 30-70% (win/loss). I dont know...

There were wrong signals really, but i think the answer is in the analysis of the upper time frame. For example: signal 2010.06.03, 9.05am (London time) This signal is wrong. Why? I think, H4 trendline touched,time is just after London opens, H4 stochastic overbought, and upper time frame( H4, D1) trend is DOWN. This is simply, or not?

mate the red line were u have pointed your buy signal trade does not have anything to do with the rules. firstly laguerre has not come up from bottom that is 0.15 secondly the trend has expanded massively and so you should not enter...lastly i would say the price is near the Resistance 3 which will make your buy signal highly unlikely to be profitable..

i believe the strategy is still on but we need patience to observe the charts and it is a waiting game so hold your nerves and you will get a good signal..

i am still demo trading using this strategy..til tis date it has been the most convincing and promising strategy to me....

I run GMT +2, also I have seen trades around this time that has worked fine!

Big thanks to Wicker for sharing this system. Also to pilatus for the great explanations. I just managed to get through this whole thread in 3hrs, not too bad If I dont say so myself .

Can't believe this system is not getting more love. I have done back testing with strict rules and am getting many good entries. Only problem is, can't know where to exit! Sure there are few signals but with 6 currency pairs + gold its enough to keep you busy.

Going live with this next week or so, so looking for other traders who want to compare trades.

Buddy, you had a good signal, entered a trade, price went up and could not breach previous resistance at first try -shit happens, no one can't tell you what will happen in future, there is no right way to judge how far price would go in some direction. There is no way or indicator that will tell you that price will brech resistance at first try.
Next, who said that trade is fail?
If you put stop loss acording the rules which is 5 pips plus spread bellow previous low or initially 20 pips bellow entry you are still in the game, but there must be patience, patience, patience...!
Ok I know it is hard to monitor that price go against you and stay calm, but that is the name of that game-patience and cool head. It is hard but if it is hard who is pushing us to do that???? We want and that is why we must set up our mind to be calm.
There is one good way to learn how to be calm. That is, to do some test and make statistics. From time to time we must loose but in the long run we are positive.

I attached chart.
I opened a short postion on GBPUSD today at 13:15 (GMT+1) . Price was 1.1530, SL 1.1546, TP 1.1510.

It hit the SL. I think that was an excellent signal. Because
1) There is no upcoming news for GBP or USD (And also USD Bank Holiday)
2) Slop Direction is also going south and it was red ( I know it isn't important for entry, but i use it to open postion )
3) GUPPY MMAs are NOT expanded.
4) There is no Pivot Line or Support/Resistance Line near the price

I am not judging the system also i know it is not holy grail. It is great system but I want to know that , are they wrong signal or not? what do u think about it.

So i think problem is about my SL level, maybe it is too tight? Any idea about it?

Yes, SL was wrong. The good place for stop: previous high/low + 5 pips. Just follow the RULES, and patience, and you will be rewarded.

anyway, you are too late the move already happened , MMAs are too much expended (and this is not GUPPY MMAs but just a rainbow).

this system needs really lots of patience and there is some fake signals, i was a bit unlucky and took only these false ones... so i gave up on it but trade it helped me a lot to change my trading approach.
