trend follower system templates and indicators an issue

please anyone who wants to help me with my trend follower system templates and the indicators download on alpari MT4 should not please hesitate to do so,i am really having problem downloading these,since i am new in this whole thing,i cant demo trade

I have downloaded successfully MT4 but you see my problem is i need someone to guide me through how to get trend follower system template on this MT4 ,to get laguerre downloaded on it,so can you guide me through on how to ensure that they get to my MT4 .Thanks in anticipation

no offense.. but I'm having a hard time comprehending what you're asking. so I assume you've already downloaded the necessary files just don't know where to put them.

make sure your MT4 client isn't running.

copy indicator files (*.mq4 or *.ex4) into MetaTrader/experts/indicators folder

copy template files (*.tpl) into MetaTrader/templates folder

copy expert advisor (*.mq4 or *.ex4) files into MetaTrader/experts folder

run up your MT4 client. the indicators and templates should be ready for use.

to load a template, open up a chart. right click on the chart then select "Template", another pop up menu appear to the right. select the template you wanna load from the pop up list. it should load the indicators with the required settings.

to load an indicator explicitly, open up a chart. select the indicator from the left under "Custom Indicators". either double click or drag and drop the indicator you want into the chart. at the pop up window, in the input tab, key in the settings you want then click OK. the indicator will be on screen.


if you can't tell which is which. post the files here and we can check for you.

btw, you kept talking about a trend following system... how are we suppose to know which one are you referring to? please provide a link or post up the files necessary.

I have solved the same problem as you are facing re trend follower by placing all the files under indicator folder of mt4, then it's work fine now.
