Here are my perspectives on A/U and E/U for next week.

A/U, I think we continue higher until 8550 area and then look to short again. The highest I think we will reach will be 8577. 8550 area is where the high during this downtrend took place and it also has the new Daily R1 and R2 in this area. 8577 because that was the low on 5 Feb 2010 and therefore should be the best for R now.

E/U, PA is stuck inside of the diamond shaped TL's I have drawn. I won't trade until a break of one of these TL's but I see price rising to the Red marks where Weekly R1 and R2 are.

I fully believe that E/U is going to Parity and have therefore made it a top priority to find a spot to Short it. If anyone would share their views on PA I would greatly appreciate it....I would like to find a nice area to enter a long-term Short!

Also, after reading Geppyg's and Shahab's thread I see their cup and handle formation on E/U which I didn't notice even though the darn handle is within my TL's that I'm waiting for a breakout on. Ha ha.

This is exactly what I was talking about last month when I hit a major milestone in my acct...before I joined FF I made decent $ but since I've joined my acct has grown exponentially and that is due to the sharing of ideas between the people involved here! Hats off to all of the great traders here!

Hey Saxon, I like your bracket for WC. I only dont think Germany can beat Argentina.They have Messi who is a team by himself.I think Spain has a good chance to win the WC this time.But you know soccer is some how similar to the market when it comes to predict the results.

Well..
Argentina will be a first big test for us yes.
We are without our captain (Ballack) which could be a real problem.
People here are not that optimistic this time.

Spain is my favorite as well... but we will see.

But for today: Go USA!

I have always had a soft corner for the Dutch,,,the guys play total football all around the place but always botch up the big occasions. If you watched the last Euro 2008, they played superbly in the group stages and ended up losing to Russia..

I always back them for this cup too, though Spain does look the strongest (another team that used to have paranoia with the word finals anywhere).

Dont rule out England and Argentina too. The latter, apart form Messi, they have Milito who played for Inter Milan (who in turn whipped Barca's a**) and Tevez.If Maradona can make some sound decisions, then they will be the team to watch out for.

Btw, where do i get such a nice template for the matches?

ESPN.com has the template for the bracket. You just click the teams to win and it fills for you.

I can't believe Argentina, only 1 point, so many chances...uggggg
Lucky break for USA having Green not hold the ball.
I think it was dumb for France to sub Anelka out
Spain has Torres, one to watch
My wife actually watched the games with me. That was more suprising than the USA/ENG tie

I agree, I saw that and wanted to change that too. Germany is good, but I totally spaced out the Argentina line-up when making this bracket

Here is a strictly Fib and S/R perspective on EU if it makes a LT upside move. The orange fib is the Daily Fib, the Gold is the H4 fib and the Green is the H1 fib. I was just looking for strong areas of friction and have highlighted them on the chart. Each one of these areas I will be looking to place potential orders. This isn't taking into account Pivs or any outliers that may come in with PA. I will post messier charts as time comes. Oh ya, the solid lime lines are significant "00"s. Look for confluence of many factors

I see the similarities of your chart to my own. Why did you choose to use the 1.2650 area as the 100% of one of your Fib retracement drawings and not one of the lower highs? I also saw a chart posted by Geppyg where he used the "high" lower than the one I chose to call the first R after we break through the 1.2150 area.

I guess this is where the Fib retracement drawings have always become such an uncomfortable tool for me. When it comes to a chart like E/U (constant downtrend) how do you know what high to use as your starting point to draw a Fib retracement?

Yup, that used to trouble me at the beginning as well. I finally decided to draw it for the overall swings rather than individual ones. Looking at the forest rather than the trees kind of thing. It also reduces the clutter on the charts.

Has worked for me so far, esp on Aussie and Cable.

I can show you a chart example if you like.

No worries...I've been trying to add the Fibs to my toolbox but it's too much of an art for my scientific mind. My MA's serve me well enough.
