FX4Newbies, your live commentary on the market is certainly very amusing. Most of the time this thread is slow but I see lot of activity today.
Another thing, you can use any trading strategy and have a 20/20 hindsight and it is also true for forks.
In my opinion there was nothing is EURO today to trade. But your commentary was interesting enough for me to come back check what is going on in the market.

I agree...there was nothing to trade and I did not trade. I prefer to trade a decent trend. Not in a scalping mood now. I don't know what you are referring to about 20/20 hindsight...I have shown targets in yellow ahead of time that were hit or price came in close. Look back at the posts from last week, June 3rd I think there was one, and then on Friday and yesterday.

I am not trying to give any picks by the way, just showing how I see the market which I stated in my thread intro. If it helps a trader great, if not that's okay. If it amuses you, that's okay too . But, if you look closely, you will see that I use Pitchforks in the traditional way.

FXnewbies. you know im not a forum lover, im not trying to smarter than u or whoever, im here to learn also give back to community as much as i can to post the charts, or the set up, im not showing off or anything bad. but u know what mate when im looking at ur chart and trying to understand what is those line in ur charts, where those forks start. man you know i have to full the chart to see where ur forks started. it hard for me to undertand and it hard for everybody else. man if u post a chart please post the whole picture first then zoom in where u r trying to lets ppl know what u thinking, thats way ppl will fully understand ur chart.
Also some new people came in this thread and call this is a great great system but not really understand ANYTHING about pitchforks how to use it correctly. Everything takes times.
Also im a student of pitchfork, i came to online webinar, seminar to learn and practice fork for long time now, but still dont complete underttand it all.
the last thing i want to say is u can use anything to draw, but finally it came down to understand the market behavior, structure of market, and the nature of the lines. I wish u best luck, dont stop learning and open ur heart out share everything with people they will give it back as the same way as u do.

Hi NguyenNguyen,

I truly appreciate your comments and heart in what you shared. I too am just here to share how I see the market and learn. I have attached here my last chart, the Bermuda Triangle. If you look closely at the area where the current price is, and then go outward from there, you will see complete forks. The green fork uses a virtual pivot (between points 1 and 3). Usually, I truncate the forks that are way out as my focus is on what is happening now. I will see what I can do.

Just a simple fork and a simple trade.
Sorry for not posting but im very very busy and i trade on background.
I will post only when i can.
On this trade i will close half lot at swing low and next at parallel median line MLH

Hello traders,

You may be wondering why I keep so many lines on my chart. When I apply a fork to a chart, I generally keep it as long as it continues to show me (with touches etc.) that it is still relevant (without it becoming illegible). It is important for me to "see" what the market is thinking and how it is thinking and most importantly "why"...as far as I can make out. Without that, I do not know how to trade. How can you drive a car if you can't see? My trade may not work out as I planned, but I still need to know and understand why I placed it in the first place. If I don't know what the market is doing or trying to do, then how can I apply any tools of analysis? To me these tools are to be used to sharpen or crystallize the picture that you may already see...bring it into focus so to speak.

I generally use color to distinguish the fork, or the thickness of the lines. I will try to simplify it some, but if you study the forks from the region of the current price out, it might help a bit.

I do use a simpler format, like Time Morge teaches, if I am looking for an entry, but this is very clear for me for the bigger picture. My apologies if it is confusing to some: it just works for me.

Already at BE ant target at energy point.
The big trend is still down and i will like to se something at energy point to get short after i get my money.

EURO surely looks like a downer to me.
The red fork is getting out of sync and I think there are less chances of touching the ML. I am thinking hagopian.

I am having the same thought...just waiting for the confirmation of price action. Price may have a challenge going higher around 1.2010 or so, if it continues to climb.

I guess it's whale watching time

In continuation of my previous post. I shorted the EURO with a 15 pips stoploss and will move to breakeven after 1.1911 is taken out. Target is quartile beneath.
