Here you go calling what I say 'stupid' again, you still haven't shown me my 'stupid' questions. Dispute individual points and we will argue them out . Philosophising apart... have you listened to the song in my previous post? Please do, it would be cool to find people who like it, I have yet to find any real-life people who do.

Getting back to the point: What do you recommend my next step is? To trade without understanding the first 200 pages or understand them first?

EDIT: PS: OK, really is bedtime now, it's 1:30 AM here. Just a note to you though: Don't doubt my motivation, why else would I be here other than for personal gain? Isn't personal gain worth the effort? Why am I doing what I am, and going about it in the way I am? Because I believe, wrongly or rightly, that it is the best way. To gather as many FTI trading truths as possible, clarify points that are ambiguous, and then trade accordingly with what I've learnt. What is wrong with that? It sounds very reasoned to me. Listen to that song mate.

agree. fti maybe pissed at him but he's still here persisting, one should show some compassion and patience to his queries. things that cant be answer...just politely tell him lah guys. if it requires repeating, just repeat.

leon, tyake time slowly read the thread. it doesnt matter if it takes you months. just take sometime to read it ok.

to be honest after reading the thread, theres nothing much left to discuss abt coz all that matters is the trade...have more screen time and leave the forum for a while, i did and trust me it really do alot of good to me.

Happy Tokyo trading to everyone. I have been long the E/J at 109.08 and protecting +20 with plenty of room, but thinking about cutting out now at 109.60. My short CAD trade lasted for only a few pips, got a little jumpy (not sure where the nerves came from but I am tired). Took me about 10 minutes to type this note out -- LOL. OK, am out now at 109.58 and am headed for bed. Trade well everyone and see you for London open.

It is dangerous to allow babies to play with matches in petrol stations. Motivation is a powerful tool, only that its a double edge sword, when coupled with powertools, the abuser normally takes their own head.

For those lacking knowledge, they can study. For those lacking skills, it can be learned over-time with some guidance. For those having broken personalities, I am sorry. Personality complexes, they are permanent.

Maybe you didn't notice. From what I experience in the past several months, whenever there's big order flow, oanda disconnect the platform. They explain it's technical problem, or they simply say there's not such a problem. After the big move finished, the platform come back to normal.

You wont understand many aspects of the first 200 pages until you start trading. Read them, do the excercises and trade the way you understand (the market will be your best teacher). Ask questions when you're not sure but until people here see your commitment why should anyone help? People here are just being straight with you and not mean so there is no need to be overly defensive. If that is part of your personality then how will you fight against the market when it starts to whack you across the head? Are you going to tell it to stop being mean? It won't listen and it will teach you the hard way. fti has a valid point about personalities and if you're not cut up for it, it's better to save yourself the pain.
