Not sure. I would set my SL to +30 pips, so like 20 pips back from where we are now since you are up 50 right now. I just trade strikes on the target and when I can set my SL to BE I do. If it gets any higher I set a trail or + some arbitrary pip count. Better to lock some in while you are ahead. Good job on the trade, +50 is a nice little score

Just had a look at my competitors performance. My only real local competitor is a Eq Fund Group/HF. They have a -7% return. I think I could just take my investors money and stuff it under my bed and would get a better return. Forex is the way to go guys/girls. Superior returns
How'd the S&P do overall last month (May Return) ?
As an HF are you allowed to trade other vehicles like options? Could have made a crap load off of a bear put spread on S&P last month.
HF can trade almost anything. We just need to state it to the NFA, Our Investors, and a bunch of other regulators beforehand. Like if I was to create and sell proprietary structured products, there is a whole list of regulators that need to approve it. But ya, options, binary, dtk, barriers, etc... You can do Fixed, Traditional Assets, Real Estate, P Equity, etc.. If you want to know where the easy money is at, just create some structured products. Add whatever you want and what is looking good (of course it's not that easy). That is how I originally...
