Oh wow, some spike. No, I don't have it. I use FXCM MT4 (London) as my main FCM. I highly recommend them. They fix all issue ASAP no matter account size. I really do like them. Who is your FCM

This one is with AlpariUK...
They don't have a Live-Support. so I can only send them a nice mail

Got my "main" Account with FxPro. No such problems with them.
(No spike down with them today..)

Last time I had such a spike. The trade was re-opened some hours later. Problem is that TrailingStops I use in MT4 is not applied on the new trade then.

So let's see how it will go this time

Opened and closed a sellstop for a good profit.


Just thought GoMarkets server timing is GMT +2.

Ya, since PA got so close I am considering it a strike. Also, LTL could wedge PA up through to 50, and if PA does bounce at first target, limit the pip-potential on a short. I will still be watching PA there for a potential trade, but most likely will trade 50

A/U. I'm waiting for the MA's I use on the M15 to line up in their appropriate positions before taking a long. The first chart is the current situation. The second chart shows how the MA's need to be lined up to go north (in white oval). So there will probably be some whipsaw back and forth from the black 35ma as this takes place.

Also, has anyone else noticed how over the past few days what Asia does the U.S. session undoes regardless of Asia bringing PA up or down?

Confluence

-Dailly pivot.
-Fib retrace.
-Fib extension.
-Resistance.

While I'm sitting here waiting for a trade I figured I might as well keep the posts going!

First pic is of A/U and S&P Daily. Notice how the pink 150ema crossed the orange 200sma... it's going to take an act of the Holy Man to get price back over the 200sma at this point. Go back in history and see what I mean. Then we have the S&P... price has been rejected by the orange 200sma for too many days now and that pink 150ema is bearing down. IMHO there is no way this sucker is going back up...

Now the second pic... still waiting on those MA's to line up. Some think up and some think down. The pink ma is still above the orange ma so I cannot short it. Wishing I had that holy grail indicator for range trading.
