Now that I have become more familiar with MPTM, I realize just how fabulous it is.

Of course I cannot claim to know how to use all its features, but then neither can you!

No reason to apologize, u didn't write the indicator
But that's something that I really can't stand with some of these indicators. Get the strong buy signal on like 8 pairs, comes close to hitting your global target, then fires off in reverse, leaving u in serious dd. Then as a slap in the face, the indicator then magically doesn't have all those strong sell signals it gave u in the first place anymore, leaving you insane
I am glad it's working for you tho, I hope it continues to do so!

it does repaint, but w/ MPTM, you will profit.

Are you using the EA to enter trades with MPTM to close them? Or are you manually entering trades when the indy alerts you?

What did you mean in your earlier post about a closeall script and 90 seconds?

I'm on my second cup of Java Beans so my mind should be working....
MPTM controls everything after I manually click the buy or sell button on an alert from the indi(Only Strong Buy or Sell).
I use the close all trades script incase I'm close to global tp and the market changes direction. It's take the profit and run time.
The bane of the scalper is the broker kicking him out when his trades are consistently shorter than 90 seconds. The broker loses money when the trader keeps taking 2-3 pips a trade and on live accounts will charge you extra when they think you are scalping or just ban you..
I hope I explained this well enough.....jump in and enjoy the action.....

Good Morning Harar,
I use 15M time frame and I never add more money to a trade. I enter on every Strong Buy or Sell alert from the Indi.....

After reading through the ALF TVI thread, I am going to try your method, but to only initiate the trade if the price also breaks the ALF line as well. I will give this a try on demo and see what happens.

Interesting addition of a filter. Although today, just using SS indy, I realized 2.9%.

Congrats Octo,
Now the next step is to put the manual method and the bot together on the same set of charts. Then you can manual trade when you want to and then let the bot take over when you are done. That's what I'm doing now as the bot has taken 2 or 3 trades a night for me the last couple of nights........That's the best of both worlds.........

Why not just use the bot all the time with MPTM to close the trades?

I can make more money manual trading but I can't do it when I'm asleep.
MPTM is handling all the trades anyway....

No, I guess you need to be awake to do manual trading.

I see the bot does not have a setting to accept only strong buy/sell signal. How do you accomplish that with the bot running?

How does manual entry on the indy's signals differ from your experience with the bot entries? In theory they should be the same shouldn't they?

I have never had a dual trade since the bot is much slower to pick up a trade because of the RSI D1 filter. Your not using that manually so you get on the trade quicker. You take 20 times more trades manually...

So essentially with the manual trading, we are getting in the on the price direction much quicker so we can pick up more pips?

I'm still testing the swingbreak bot and it wins 8 out of 9 trades with MPTM managing. The issue is that 1 loss negates like 4 wins. I'm still trying to work out the stoploss multiplier because alot of times the position moves against you before it goes in that direction.

could just edit out the rsi filter on the bot. I was under the impression from the last couple pages of posts on the SS bot that it didn't take trades properly, I guess it does?
