Picks for monday. Not much out there but your best chances will be the GBP/CHF, USD/CHF and CAD/CHF after the gaps. If they dont set up nice I dont see anything for Monday.

Example of gbp/chf. If price gaps up Monday and the 6x6 cross uncrosses then the gbp/chf will become a secondary trade again. You can turn on the EA and let it enter if price drops. If price does not drop then the EA will not enter. If price gaps down then it is a no trade. If price gaps up then you probably wait until midway through the jpy session to turn the EA on. See pick below.

Hi Mor,

This is a little different than some threads. Bob documents everything in the first thread and it is up to day at the very top. I believe he puts the post and page# and then you find the post, download the attachment and go from there.

It is at V4, so download that, read the manual and you are on your way.

Another shortcut is that this is a semi-manual-auto type process.

You will only 'start' your EA's, when you visually see the conditions in which you would like to invest. This enables entries to be a bit more painless or emotional.

Exits are handled automatically or by you. Good process.

I got caught up in the 2nd wave of news. It was bad... But, I had confidence in the system (which I didn't follow to the T and if I would have would not have had the issues I did..)

This all happened in the 2nd day of live trading the system w/ only 1K or so. But, I am almost out of it and just 'righting the ship' as Bob put it. it was a great learning experience and that is what I wanted.

Thanks and so appreciated, I am trying various methods and strategies here on FF. Great site.

No surprise that james16 evolved from here.

My computer skills are very basic unfortunately, but I will give it a go, failing that there is a computer help establishment round the corner, it is soooooo frustrating.

Here I want to document the importance of the secondary trade. This is the third time I am taking the gbp/chf as a secondary trade. Getting 50 pips every time. Number1 is the primary trade 2-5 are the secondary trades. It doesnt mean price wont go up but we are at a strong R line here and if price goes up the 6x6 should keep you out of the trade. If price goes south again, you are in. Good luck. Actually #3 is not a trade, my fault for posting that.

Here is a non trade eur usd. Even though we are below the lowest line on the sixths indicator the RWB sto/MACD lines dont confer. I know the white line is black in this illustration so maybe I should call it the RBB line

Here is a Eur/Cad almost qualify. Watch this one during the day, it may qualify by the eur or usd session.

I took my hit on a bad trade I did. The key is to stick to primary trades in the beginning till you get more comfortable with the system. I got caught by the market decline (several secondary trades) where the commodity driven countries get killed as well so I had like way too may AUD pairs....

I would stick with the main pairs, do primary trades, learn it for a while, then venture out a bit. What Bob is doing is more advanced and takes a bit of training.

If you are not comfortable with trading yet or MT4, than be especially careful and just do demo for quite a while. This is a good system, but requires you to stick with it and it does have Martingale a bit so it can give you a little bit of emotion when you go multiple levels, but if you stick to Bob's Money Management, then you will be OK, barring a catastrophe..

Mmmmm.. I'm wondering given my level if you will, if Bob's other system for the 5min t/f would be best for me at this stage, what do you think.

They are pretty much the same in a way.

I am doing both, the EA system (4 HOUR) and the Manual. (live on both...)

In my opinion, I would master or at least learn the Manual system before doing any EA. That way you UNDERSTAND what is going on and how deep of doodoo you are in and what can happen next if you let the 'drain my bank account EA' continue.

However, it can also be the 'make my account bigger EA' if you are lucky so it depends on the day.

I think the key thing to understand that in my opinion there are three very profitable and popular strategies in forex:

Trend direction systems, you can find them as usually in the first post it says, "Trend is your friend"... They probably made a lot of money in MAY!

Ranging systems - THIS ONE.... You do good on ranging, but could get hurt when the market trends hard. However, it does't do that as often as some would like or not like. Example is I am working on an EA for 5M and in markets like this you make a killing.... However, in a trending market it blows up again and again... I am up 2K on a 2K account in about 3 days trading (demo, ECN).

Breakout systems - london breakout, or anything w/ breakout...

I think they are all good and in my opinion it might not be a bad idea to do all 3. That is where I am headed.

With Bob's system w/ 200 pip entry differences and such, it keeps you out of most of the bad stuff unless the move is ultra-big... like May... Or October of last year or December... Bob is smart and experienced with this management style, so do what he says and I believe you will make money.

In other words, I would stick to this if you like the 4H trading and can trade longer term.

Oh, and all your questions for setting it up will be answered if you go back and read all the posts... It is worth doing as you will see how Bob and others evolved and others have dropped out or given poor ratings.

I believe then you will find out that this is a good system.

Hi BOB

I just finished breaking even on one of my accounts which has 6 pairs open with drawdown of almost 3000 pips. It took just over two weeks and your idea of hedge worked like a dream. I was down $600 when I hedged the losing trades, when these trades were in profit by just over $600 I cashed them (now the running trades are -$1200. I waited for my -ve trades to retrace and then closed them today when the account just broke even. I suppose I could have hanged on for profit but I chickened out.

Now, I know how upset you get when people vote against your system without bothering to even test it or even read the thread properly. For me and few people who send me pm, this system has proved itself without a shadow of doubt.
