EU PA is too slow, if it got there it would just putter around for a bit. I think my next trade will be around Aisa. My Reward/Sanity ratio isn't good right now with EU. Leaving the office to do some chores Tell me how the trade goes. Be back in a few hours.

Man i am having a hard time staying up now its 1:20 a.m. any suggestion Saxon...///? should i just hit the sac or wait a while longer or just put in a buy limit with a stop at 1.21 & just test my luck...??

I'd say hit the sac, you'll be better refreshed for the next trading session. PA is soooooo slow

Hi Amy. I'm with you on A/U. Took the short at 8250 as you can see in the white oval on my chart. It was being held down by the 150ema and almost to the DP. I took the trade on the red candle down just at the open...got lucky to say the least I guess. However, my S/L is at B/E already...I don't trust this market.

On a side note I think I understand why my trading has been so crappy lately. I guess when NY session hits the smart money/big traders stand to the side and the blackbox computers take over causing gyrations in the market place and swaying longs and shorts where ever it sees the best opportunity. I can't trade like that so for the most part I am standing to the side until my "good" potential setups occur from now on.

Maybe Saxon knows more about this and can explain it a bit more.

Hi Marc

Good luck to both of us. I never look at the NY session as I am always sleeping. I find that for me most of the best setups come during the Asian session, most swing highs or lows are usually reached early in the Asian session or early in London. Only a couple of times a year I find I miss a move bc it happened during NY, last night was one.

I think it might go up into the 8275 area so I have more short orders there, stops just above.

E/U. Amy do you have any thoughts on E/U for the rest of this week? Saxon, we didn't get to the "promise land" at 1.2144 today!

I am trying to trade this pair due to my inability to grab sufficient pips from my A/U and G/U trades. For some reason the E/U charts look more familiar to me in terms of PA and potential setups...something I have been missing on the other pairs for the past few days. PA seems more rational and logical!

Hey Marc,
If you havent made up your mind about EU, I suggest take a look at AJ as well.

Edit: Btw Iwent long on EU when it pushed above 1.2175. I will move stop to BE soon and let it ride.

possible short on now at 1.2212, but if it goes through then i'd wait till 1.2232 or maybe dp. It should move down to 1.2133. I haven't traded eu for a week now, i want it to move higher to around 1.25, probably isn't going to happen though.

You are welcome Marc. Just to explain my rationale, AJ movements are correlated over 90% with AU. You are already prolific with AU. So, trading AJ movements might be something that you want to look into.

Like you, I used to trade AU and GU in the beginning. I added AJ, followed by GJ.

Ya, we got pretty close, but didn't hit my target, touched the zone though, but I still had set prices. Oh well. I don't know if I will be trading it on the way back down though. I think I will be on the sidelines for EU until London starts. Looking at other pairs though

Marc, did you do anything on eu? I am going to change my numbers from before, 1.2259 is my line in the sand, if it gets there i'll sell it but if it goes past then it looks like 1.25-26 will be back in play. stop will be 10 pips.
