As for spreads, I haven't seen anything wide at all.
There is no normal charting in Navigator and the Pro is a total crap. I agree that by order types its superior to MT4

Yes, that's why I've wrote since 2 days. The spreads are the only reasons I'm still with MBT. I hope they return to normal as soon as possible. With normal condtion they are superb! But today EURUSD mostly 2 pips today, higher that almost all brokers

Maybe not normal conditiona, but spreads in MBT have widened more than with other brokers - from the best to "almost" the worst...

Why are you so concerned with spreads? Are they, being less, the part of your profitable strategy?

I'm not sure what you mean by normal charting? Granted, the Desktop has limited charting, but the Desktop Pro has very sophisticated charting and has received very positive reviews from our clients.

What type of charting were you looking for?

Right now we are running between .5 to .9 average spread; however I do see between 7am -8am PST we did have a wider than normal spread due to volatility in the market and our liquidity providers widening the spread.

Remember, anytime you want you can post bids/offers between the spread to receive potentially better spreads.

I am not going to use navigator pro until it knows how to draw a Bid and Ask lines and have at least somewhat usefull scripting language.

Simply, now I MUST use mt4, as I am using my own scripts to draw my market view and your software doesnt offer me tools I need

I don't think so. I have tried your Desktop Pro (since it is more powerful and has Chart) with a demo account for a couple of days. And find that the quote server is always disconnected; the middle lamp on lower right corner is always red. Therefore, there are not real time quotes at all. The FX board also appears blank. However, the other two lamps are green, so I can place and close orders correctly. Do you not provide real time quotes for demo users? In addition I don't think my firewall blocked server, since I don't know your server IP.

Furthermore, a stranage thing happened this morning. The trade server lamp(the left-most lamp) appears red thus disconnected, but I can still place and close orders CORRECTLY!!!

I feel the Desktop is imperfect and not very stable. Other users have had the same nuisance?

Maybe should give a try to the older version of Desktop, which would not disconnect the quotes?

What freaks me out every day since the beginning of May that almost every day the demo freezes up, produces gaps and therefore false indicator analysis.
The navigator gets crapier everyday, too: one day it's the quote server, next day you can't even log into the account.

Sorry, but I have to say that this month is my last with that kind of "quality".

Bit of advice...

Put $400 in a Live MT4 account. Don't trade it. Just use that for your charts. Demo will go down occasionally and thus have a price gap. They usually plug the gaps over the weekend. But you won't see that in live.

Then you can trade in Nav.

What is going on wth the bid ask prices on Navigator? During NY session the price was 40 pips and greater difference than market price on 3 MT4 charts I'm running from different brokers (including the MBT MT4) and my TradeStation live feed. All the other prices were within an acceptable range of 2 -3 pips. But the Navigator isn't lining up with market price or any charts I'm using. How are we supposed to place orders through Navigator when it's off by such a large margin from? Right now it's off by 23 pips as I'm typing this. It isn't lag either. It's moving in a completely different direction.

Depends on which pair. What you discover is that different banks have different primary interests and thus keep the tightest spreads on the pairs where they are trying to get hit.

Take a look at this screen shot from www.fxintel.com. (MB is the Orange line..FYI)
hey, look at the flat line from IKON-ROYAL, it is always flat line for every pair. Is that true? anyone has experience with them?

The other day I set up some identical setups with EAs to test brokers and compare the results.

MBT has been the only one which has had this problem.

I have had trades run past the SL and not close.

Can any admins of MBT elaborate on why this has happened?
