Go used to have slow execution but now is pretty much instant for me and have better spreads but FXSOL have some pretty good out of hours customer service so that might be the way forward for you.

i have just addressed my concern.
Isnt this a forum for traders where you can share your experiences with others? I have had very positive experience with gomarkets when i started and i now i am being faced by the above problem.
It may be instant execution for you, why not for me? Do you have an answer? If not please dont bother replying.
I would appreciate others feedback as to the problem could be due to metaquotes- thata what i have been told.

The solution is not to change brokers. If there is a problem a trader faces with brokers, these are forums they discuss the issued so that other traders could be made aware of potential problems with brokers. That is why this is in broker discussion forum. Im glad you are getting good exectuion. I wish i could too but seems like some sort of funny thing happening with my account. I am based in sydney, Australia and would love to have the funds kept locally.
The broker discussion regarding gomarkets, GOOD OR BAD need to be addressed. Lets see how CHRIS deals with this. Im hoping their reputation stands up.
Luck is not what im looking for but action from gomarkets. Wishing them luck to fix this asap.

it's people like you with attitudes such as yours who i refuse to deal with at work. this attitude is not going to lead to any resolution and you are a waste of time to deal with and will only suck the life out of anyone who bothers to try to help you.

i hope go drop you out of principle for being a twat to them. i would. the customer is not always right, and no matter how many times you CAPITALISE THE NAME CHRIS does not mean he has to, or should, reply to you.

Glad to see i am not the only one with slow exectutions ... As of Friday, my execution speeds were still taking about 4-5 seconds to fill.

I have withdrawn 85% of my funds from them already a week and a half ago. They have not done anything to solve my problem. And yes i was very profitable when the problems started happening. So i guess we're in the same boat.

Infact, during the U.S. Trading session on Friday, they wouldnt accept any orders or execute any other trades becuse they started giving this weird error "Common Error" (which lasted for over half hour or more) - Tried calling their night helpdesk, and there was no answer. Tried a lot of times, and just no answer! I ended up loosing 1.7% of my account since i was in a couple of trades simultaneously. I made it up in another broker, so it kinda calmed my nerves - but very very unacceptable esp. with no phone support.

I'm done with them (and im guessing thats exactly what they want, since ive been profitable! lol); This comes after reading a lot of negative issues on them all over the web, including here. Yes, they do have a quite a few positives as well, but lets face it - i am here to make money on my time not on my broker's moods - They are here to make money too, so the person with the trigger in their hand, wins; unfortunately thats not us! haha...

I've gone through a lot of reviews and forums on the web about brokers, and we are not the only ones complaining about Go Markets - and these guys with all the praises for GoMarkets will soon realise the real issues once they start making some real money with this broker. Funny thing is, i also came accross another forum where "Chris" used to post. Among many people there, finally the moderator there started having issues with his Go account as well (who used to praise Go); Long story short, "Chris" stopped posting there with nothing resolved.

I hope this gets resolved quickly for you though, as i would imagine, that would get them back on track to being honest and customer oriented. Thats when i re-fund my account

Our nightdesk was working fine on Friday night as you can see from the above posts, you should recheck the number.
I'm afraid that since our update we have only a couple of people having minor issues, we will do all we can but to be honest its baffling and we can do patch tests to assit if need be.
As you will be more than aware from our legal docs all trades are passed on and in our new PDS to be launched shortly we also give full disclosure on how much money we make from every single trade so there would be no logical reason why any delay would benefit us and in addition to this it is our Meta system not a white label so any counterparty would not be able to do this either.
We have many profitable clients with seamless trading, we have contacted Meta directly to see if its anything in the setup and we will await to hear from them and revert back.
With reference to Friday night we actually had 5 clients ping the server an enourmous amount of times which could have been a malicious stunt to temporarily freeze the server.
These clients have now been stopped and accounts will be closed, this action caused trading to be temporarily halted online but thankfully we had our night desk to assist.
An additional data centre is being added this week for more protection.

It is good to know that Gomarkets addresses these situations.
As a live profitable customer I look forward to buidling the relationship I have with gomarkets especially once the live tick data is available to its clients for backtesting purposes.

If you get an error on MT4, then close and restart MT4 because most errors of that kind are with MT4.
Also if you are using EAs, they can cause errors with MT4.

Thanks topdogg, just trying to help.

Also curious…why trade with a broker on the other side of the world from where you live, surely the closer to home they are the faster they respond and you have your money in your own country.

In addition to the above would all the people out there want all time frames, or would M1 data suit?

Also, our live clients out there may be interested to know that we have recently published a getting started with MT4 guide which is avaialble to all our clients. It is primarily aimed at new traders, but everyone may have some interest in it. Just email in or give us a call and we will happily send it out.

Can you explain why these crashes are ocurring? Here are two just tonight within 90mins. As well, there has been one ocassion when the platform has simply closed - no error message, just closed. I hadn't been inactive, screensaver had not activated, and usually I can be inactive for some time, and platform does not close.

I'm in Thailand and I want to use Paypal to deposit to my account using USD denominated, why can't Gomarket accept Paypal in USD but AUD ? I don't want to use AUD, please advice

That looks like your Meta is corrupted mate , you need to delete and reinstall otherwise I would bet it keeps on happening.
I agree - this sounds like a problem with your local MT4 install more than the MT4 server. You may also be running low of resources, such as RAM.

It could also be an EA you are running, especially if it has a DLL. Make sure the EA is compiled for the same version of MT4 you are running. Your EA publisher can help you with that.

Did you get any feedback from gomarkets regarding your issue?
I had problem with my market order execution too. They were delayed for 8-9 seconds and i called in and they manage to improve it a bit. Im now getting 3 second delay in execution.
You are right in adreessing this issue here. Im sure Chris will have to answer as you are not the only one facing or have faced execution porblems. There are many traders who have complained in various forums. Read the reviews in other forums too.
Lets see what Chris has to say. Keep us updated from the feedback and dont let other idiots prevent you from posting in here. You have every right.

My platform has been crashing a few times lately. It comes up with this message of "connection error". I am in a trade group and many traders are facing the same issue. It happened today morning as well for a few minutes.
Dont know whats the "go" with that !!! Maybe its a temporary issue. Will keep you posted.

I will answer both questions here,
Yes we have emailed the person above we emailed her yesterday as we still hadnt heard back from the last email we sent.
We are going to set her up with a brand new account with her permission to see if that helps her connection issue and also we are waiting to hear back from Meta.
As discussed you will find very few people complaining about execution speed now since the fix and those that do normally there is an explanation but again we cant help individual cases unless we are contacted or send us a private message on this forum if you want to keep your privacy.

We have had no connection problems today at all so please call in if you are and we can look at it as usual, its best to alert us first as we can diagnostics, we arent always looking on the forum so cant guarantee to react.
Our meta logs say we have a usual amount of activity online for this time of day and no dropouts apart from our normal daily restart so if you are seeing connection issue the that is not normal so please contact us to investigate.

Due to some clients feedback, this week we will be sending a message out via our Meta mailbox system to ask for feedback on whether clients would like the opening hours on Sunday night/Monday morning ( Depending on your location ) to remain the same or whether you would like them to open an hour earlier.
There are pros and cons for both arguments but I would like to stress that Go markets doesnt mind either way but we do want the majority of clients to be happy about the outcome.
When you see the message then simply email us and we will look to decide the best course of action in the best interest of our customers.
