yikes, markets are moving today. Looks like the dow is headed for another beastly plunge.

Taking profit on the USD/CAD trade at the 38.2% retracement and at 4HR Res. Only reason is because I have to leave. The other factor on the exit was Crude Oil hitting the M1 reversal pivot point for the day

You may have seen something, but it was not within my standards. Different people trade differently. I'm not going to try and find a reason why I had a down week, it happens. It is part of trading. To be honest, I think I did everything right this time! Things just didn't work out. 1% of my losses was because price missed the first target literally by 1 pip, and I had to kill the trade manually at a 1% loss, instead of B/E like it was supposed to be. I like how most people assume that if you aren't making money everyday you're doing it wrong - that is not true. I'm happy to take my loss for the week, and start looking for more opportunity next week.

Also, no one here will ever say they lost money, which is hilarious. If anything, I would say that the FTA getting missed by 1 pip leading to a 1% loss on that trade, but combined with the fact that I knew to kill it, makes me happy to know I'm progressing further. Preventing a full bar loss is my main effort at the moment.

Thanks Mike, I closed the balance of the trade just short of 100 pips. Using that EA has really helped me take the emotion out of my trades. May miss out on some of the runners though.

Now I just need a 3-6 months consistent and I'll be upgrading from micro/demo to live.

That's what it is all about I wish everyone would stop trading live and go through theses steps. You will come out much better in the long run. After all isn't that why we do it to be here in the long run

Dan, I have lost money. However, as you know it is part of the game.

My week was fairly lame until yesterday. I'm sure everybody knows here how it goes.

Place a trade today: USD / CAD
I have two positions open at 1.0234, just above the maximum pinbar yesterday, with divergence and ppz.
Both SL 1.0201 (minimum of current day).
1 position tp 1.0264;
2 posizone 1.0331 tp with trailing stop of 25 pips.
Result:
- the first position hit the target;
- stop from second place trailing stop at 1.0243.
What do you think seniores (mostly Mike)?

Hi...

LOL I'm on page 144 and it took me 2 weeks to get there and there is another 4k but it s absolutely worth reading...just made 350 pips this week (7-8 % account growth) with 80+ win % on 4H TF's - lolll I ve never been able to do that before.

cheers Dan....obviously different strokes for different folks.....i also make losses and when i do analysis over the weekend...i actually see how silly i was to take some trades..........for me week has been nice up sme good %...nice weekend guys/gals.........

yeah, I love to look at the weekend as a good opportunity to highlight what I want to do within the next week. But I still don't see anything silly on my 3 trade attempts of this week. I like it
