You're about one and a half years too late.
One often hears the mantra that the life expectancy of 97% of new traders is three months having blown their account. To become a master at anything, it takes 10,000 hours. Anyone who can stick with trading for 10,000 hours will be a master. Thus anyone who does their 10,000 hours will be with the greats.

i'd say john Arnold, he's an oil trader made a fortune for ENRON trading oil and when ENRON went under he started his own hedge fund and made a fortune for his clients.

He's only around 32 or 33 and is already a billionaire (4 billion personal fortune) from trading.

How about Jim Simons? CEO of Rennaissance Technologies hedge fund. He may not be a "classical" trader, but is running probably some of the most successful automated trading algorithms. He's worth $8.5 billion (Wiki)

well if it's a contest for the forum then it's simple, just show some proof for the last year or something.. no biggie and there could be a learning curve for the rest of us by looking at what trades were taken

Paul Tudor Jones gets my vote. Not only is he a billionaire trader , but he gives back by selecting an inter-city child each year and pledges to pay for their college education thru Jones' " Robinhood Fund.
