my god. yesterday was the day! i quietly sold eur/jpy in the morning and went away. 6 hours later i came home and closed it with wide open eyes and 360 pips of profit. and then it fell 600 pips more.

i'm still shocked.

i'm totally out until euro is beginning to fall after the retracement, which i hope will happen soon. honestly, i'm afraid. i had never seen such moves. gdp/jpy moved 1200 pips down within a few hours, that's just insane.

yeah. a small move on chart is actually a lot of pips now. the small movement used to be 10 pips on m15 but now bam!! 30-40 pips in a single candle. scary

Lets hope things settle down over coming weeks and start trending properly again.

people including me often ask how to avoid fake breakouts. some suggested chikou span. yes but we might lose lotsa pips if the price broke the kumo first. and by the time chikou broke the kumo, price is already reversing. MAYBE we just can't avoid it since ichimoku is a trend indicator. when it's trendless, ichi will be in a state of being dysfunctional. MAYBE. maybe the way to make profit is just to take all of these breakouts without knowing if it's fake or not. but when do we stop if we go wrong? -5 pips? -20? -200? just before the market ended i have found an indicator from a forum moderated by a trader in my country and he was using other system actually. nothing to do with ichi. but GP_trend v2 caught my eye. i put it for an observation and i find that it MIGHT be useful to use this tool to know when to get out of a position. it is made of red (for down move) and blue (for upward move). yeah, Heiken Ashi can do this but sometimes, the signals are inconsistent and u might prematurely get out of the trade. but take a look at these 2 charts. USDJPY. the way to do it is just to take EVERY kumo break n ride it until the GP trend color turns the other way. EG: price broke below and a when the blue color pops, u get out of the trade. if the indi gives u a red, re-enter the trade.

probably it might not be used alone right? am thinking how to cooperate it with ichi to provide a time to get out. or do u have any ideas or indicators?
