Wow, I have a lot of reading to do.

I recently started reading the original thread by Trader101 and I really like the theory behind this system.

I am upto page 46 in the original thread, and I plan to read the entire thread, and then get started on this one.

I have opened 2 demo accounts for IA and trading so that I can follow along with the methods development as I read.

Thanks for all the work that everyone has put into these threads.

mmmm. So it is not a technical pinbar. It is how the actual bar closes in reference to the previous one. On what time frame do you plot BasketBars? because on 4H the bar did not close with a red dot.

well, that is a very technical pin bar because pinbars can look different and appear in different places. if you look at the james16 thread you'll see what I mean. a real pinbar is not as technical as this indicator. but when it closes, it looks just like a good pinbar setup should look like.

I use H4 since that what most pros use. they say anything under that is pretty much shooting yourself in the foot and waiting to loose

Well on the previous post you said that your bar changed from green to red. On mine that was not the case and the same with that bar which is not exactly a pin bar, again, on my charts. I use IBFX. What broker do you use?

i mean the bar thats open now on your H4 should close red. they way it looks is starting to look like it will close that way. i use broco. I also demo citigx and dukascopy and they all have closed red. they all have different GMT times too.

also, the bar youre pointing at that closed green was supposed to close green not red. it has to close BELOW 38.2% of that rang. then it would have been red.

ive been using a basket indicater for some time using online offline chart , it needs refreshing to get full value from it nothing fancy but it works well
i find the exact entry timing is enhanced with the lrma 21 and williams 31 centre 50 cross for 101s basket

its only a sujestion for you to look at the williams 31 using 50 % as it reflects the dollar index very well

but it seems to work well with the basket indicater for precise entrys and exist

Hi, here is the graphic.
I would to telll you that this is not my main base for taking the decision of each one trade, but this is like conformation.I use this indic from time to time and i'am so glad.
Mainly i took decisions as per moving g/j.Yes, some day other pair will be more volatility and will hit my sl , but otherway i do not trade never

In the pictures you there will see in previous post is write out "JPY Multy Basket Pulse", but the name of the indicator for dowloading is only "JPY Basket Pulse".This is the same indicator.It observe JPY's only - stronging/weakening.

You see that Swingman Vorticity? That is what hazelj80 and I are trying to do, but do it with Semafors. Yes, it's picking top and bottoms. Yes, it can be risky. But the original Semafors (and on offline chart) act differently than my indicator I built.

I would say that if Swingman Vorticity was used on T101 offline chart, you'd see about the same signals. The ranging in the middle of the trend doesn't eat a trader alive this way. The just hold on because they know the trend is not over.

BTW I don't know if hazel has seen the your thread/spinoff on T101, but both you and him would be surprised at how close what we're doing are. Ride the rollercoaster! Cheers!

You say at top "this is buyjpy, but I'm buying all" and at bottom, you say "this is sell jpy, but I sell all". This is incorrect. At top, when JPY starts to go down, it would be "sell JPY", but "BuyAll" (buy basket). At bottom starts to go up, it would be "buy JPY", but "SellAll" (sell basket).

I have said previously that JPY and USD ran opposite directions, but I was wrong. When you buy the basket, you sell USD and JPY against others. When you sell the basket, you buy USD and JPY against others. USD and JPY go the same direction.

Along with this indicator, in replacement for Semafors, I think brijon uses SuperSignals on H4 to spot when price hits resistance and support and possibe turning points? it's hazel using basketbars as confirmation that we have 2 price-action-only (no lag, no MAs) indicators giving confirmation of each other for turning points.

And as hazel sees: The brokers can't stop this. If a broker has x number of pairs, what is the probability that x/3 (a third of the currencies) will be going in one direction be? A good chance, since price either goes up, down, or sideways. You simply look at a bunch as one. If they lower leverage, use less pairs, but you still track price. Price action is KING.

I just put JPY on with my Semafors indicator on H4 with basketbars. The vertical red lines show hazel's stop and reverses.

JPY just doesn't sync up IMHO, other than the peaks of JPY line up with bottom Semafor 3's. JPY and top Semafor 3's don't line up at all.

Edit: Do you see basketbars on here? The last one is finished, but it has no dot yet. But if you know the rules, look at the "candle" and you see that basketbars will have a red dot when next bar opens. Why? It closed in lower 38.2% (I just say lower third most of the time, but ingenious of smjones).

I'm not sure yet. Regular Semafors indicator when you look at it on chart in the past, you see price go from top 3's to bottom 3's. But on my modified one, price goes from bottom 3 to bottom 3, so may have 2 (or more?) bottom 3's in a row or 2 or more top 3's in a row. This is more dangerous than using regular Semafors. If one knows how to use regular Semafors, you don't try to catch tops and bottoms like we are anyways. This is more dangerous than even normal Semafors are (which aren't if used right, but almost no one uses them right). So I won't be to blame for anyone using the indicator and losing money. So the best way to keep this from happening is to not give it out and hope for offline charts to come forth so that we can all use regular Semafors, which are more reliable than my modification is.

BTW, someone said that a red basketbars hadn't been made on their account. On my demo accounts, they haven't been made, but on my live MBT account they have. So as hazel said, per our system, we would be in sells. We'll see what happens come Sunday.

blue circle = BUY where BI_T101 cross AND price climbs above TRENDMAGIC
red circle = SELL where BI_T101 cross AND price drops below TRENDMAGIC

I use MACD to pick tops and bottom, and to spot divergence

EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON THE SAMIR TREND DIRECTION

sold the basket already, lets see how it goes at market open
