HI Guys,

although I missed these, review the AJ & AU charts:

AJ Day/4hr/15min: Trend Up; Confluence @ RN 85:00; 61%fib; S-level 85.06 + bouncing off TL (this is perception - every one draws them differently)

AU: same setup could be applied;

Trading now:
EU: currently in trade +50 - just entered off the retest of the Asian high @ 1.32112, SL @ 1.31728 - will monitor closely with news coming up soon, UPDATE: JUMPED TRADE on big pullback when SL was hit

Market News

 

  1. Dollar traders should note that we have the Interest Rate decision scheduled for release this evening.
  2. Japanese annual retail sales grew at 4.75, the fastest levels for 13 years. Car sales and household appliances led the way.
  3. In the commodity markets, this afternoon sees the weekly EIA oil inventory data being released.
  4. New Zealand Dollar traders should note that they too have an interest rate decision, scheduled for 2100 GMT.
  5. Sterling watchers should note that we have the final televised debate tomorrow evening, with pollsters still saying that the likely outcome is a hung Parliament.

Have you used the FFcal News indicator .... what i like about this indi is that it can display news related to the pair it is applied on. Prevents lots of clutter.

anyone considering to short this pair? It is at a major resistance level + RN + 50% wkly Fib level + pin bars.

Looks appealing to me ...anyone else on board?

wow man, you wanna short this pair? First of all, usd/chf is highly negatively correlated with eur/usd. And as you probably have heard, the euro room has big problems with regards to greece and portugal.
Until these problems are solved, the euro is a definite short, which makes the usd/chf a definite long.
The higher your time-frame, the more you have to take fundamentals into consideration.

Euro - absolutely agree, the Fundies now seems to question Italy's fin health too...

1 of my views for EU is that it might retrace back to 1.3250-80 area and then enter a next wave of selling.

1 of my other views is to just watch the chart and see what PA does...

First Greece, then Spain and now Italy, i understand Portugal is on the way too................with all these mess...could we see the Euro Ditched or something..................n how did all these mess get where it is?

In my opinion it was a bad idea anyways to give the euro to countries with differently developed economies. I mean you can't compare greece's, portugal's or spain's economy with that one of germany for example. Again I am not an economist, but I think the wisest decision would have been to give the euro to countries with similar output ratios.
But on the other hand I understand germany as well for wanting those not so good economies in the euro zone. Cause germany was at a point where its own currrency was so high that its products were too pricey on the world markets. With the euro they can sell their products at a cheaper price.

And I think this mess started with industrial nations financing its systems not through economic output, but through loans. I always wondered how social security, national health care, national school and so on could be financed through taking on more and more loans, instead of increasing economic output and taxing that one. Apparently it doesn't work. Gonna be interesting to see if such a thing could also happen to other countries. I am eyeing the USA here with its trillion dollar deficit. But again, I don't know the high science of macro-economy, so maybe I am just talking bs here.
And I don't believe that the euro will be ditched all together. Nations shouldn't go backward, the euro-zone with all its faults actually also has a lot of benefits (normally).

Here is a quick hint on configuration of this indicator:

In order for this to work correctly and synchronize with your broker's server time, you must enter the proper value for "TimeZone". This is entered relative to GMT. For example, my broker's server time is GMT+1, so I have the default set to 1. If your broker uses GMT+3, enter 3. If your broker uses GMT-2, then enter -2.

This pair didn't go no where therefore I've cancelled the trade. However entered into EURUSD H4 @1.32500. Anyone else in this one?

Anything else you are looking at or monitoring ?

Personally going to take a nibble a bit higher around 1.3292, assuming it doesn't just die. However, with the recent daily p.a., I think a retrace to 1.5 is very plausible (once 1.4 is dealt with).
