DislikedSteve,
Having read your user guide, it appears you are saying that the bot looks for a swing high (or swing low) in the higher timeframe and treats that to set the direction of the trade....Ignored
Swing Continuation looks at 2 higher tf's. 2 htf swing highs will be traded long after a trading tf swing low.
To throw a bit more into the mix, fractals will show smaller swings within a much bigger one. zigzag seems much better at delineating the overall swing, but is slow at spotting it. I hope that this means it is more accurate.
Then there is RR's ZigZagMe, which jumps in more quickly to show the latest overall swing. Does this mean it is less accurate than zigzag, or equally accurate but quicker?
I am already coding the next robot, which will take the swing identified by zz and trade when the price breaches the extremes. It will be easy for coders to change zz to RR's ZigZagMe if they want to try this instead.
In the meantime, SCT has not traded much today, but of the two trades it has taken, one closed in profit and the second is nicely into positive upl.
