Any historic charts showing fundamental effects on currencies?

I am a big believer in Fundamental Analaysis. So I open monthly charts and google the date of significant changes in currency pairs , which are mostly Interest rate changes decisions. But its a difficult task to track minor changes in daily and weekly charts. So is there any book or service that analyse historic charts??

I remember that there was a website who analyzed and showed us the impact of major news on the intraday FX market but I didn't bookmark.
At least you know it exists.

Can't answer your question but if there was historic data available how relevant would it be without knowing market sentiment at the time, how traders were positioned prior to the data, whether data was in line with expectations or better or worse, and what other previous/anticipated data (actual and rumoured) it was influenced by.

I'm not sure you can take any news announcement in isolation anyway, the market tends to look at a broader picture most of the time and takes other things into consideration. Not forgetting you'd have to analyse not only the base currency's economy but also how it compares to the counter currency's economy......and that's just for starters, there's probably a lot of other things to take into consideration.

If you ask me I'd say it was an impossible task, and even if you managed to get the data and make any statistical sense of it all how applicable it would be today is debatable, for example we're more risk averse than we've been in the past few years, and we've had some major unprecedented events occur.

I want you to look at the expected rate decrease on June 2008 for the NZD/USD and same for EUR/USD july 2008. Bro thats free money right there!! The kind of trade setups that can cause the broker a heart attack!

Why r u laughing brah? Looking at your join date I am sure you saw many traders made thousands from news releases. I am not looking to struddle or make limit orders during the time of release , but you can be sure a reversal in the weekly and monthly trend.

Brah = Hawaiian 'Pidgeon talk', punjabi language spoken in northern india, Carribean.

I didnt try on the 1st one so no comment.

I once traded oanda box option and i used newsimpact.com to study the magnitude of spike 30min before and after news. I'm not sure about your requirement but its service is good enough for me.
