I have such a small deposit with these guys it's not worth me closing my account..I had my doubts from the beginning...Thus, the small initial investment.


Waste of time experimenting with these fools...

I don't know who are MRC but I would not deposit that kind of money with any of the brokers stated above, you would be taking a big risk. There are many big and well regulated brokers both in the U.S and in the UK. This is where you should be looking. Like one of the brokers I mentioned in my previous post above.

I can't recommend any broker really but if the broker is regulated and very well capitalized then I have no problem trading with them. I would not have any problem putting my money with any of the brokers I stated in one of my previous posts on this thread.

it's common for a demo account to expire after a certain period of time. I'm not sure if gomarkets does it or not, but FYI.

I've never heard of MRC, and I've known of hundreds of brokers (I maintain a spreadsheet of over 260 brokers).

There's a guy on Forex Factory who appears to be trading big (around 0.5M of equity) at FXPro, but FXPro are a market maker. Whether it's Ok to deposit 100K USD depends on how rich you are and can afford to lose it if one day they make some kind of excuse to keep your profits and/or deposit (e.g. traded on off market quotes).

Look at trading on the Currenex platform instead (e.g. through London Capital Group or ADM Derivatives), as the MetaTrader platform is like a rigged poker machine and after all these years, cannot be considered to be professional grade software due to many flaws even in the most recent versions.
Couldn't a trader just get an account with a bank if he/she has $100K to put in it?

As we are still trying to ensure top notch execution speed for all clients, regardless of worldwide location and to keep up with the rapid expansion, we have started the process of arranging for new servers in different regions in addition to our current trading servers. This is currently our top priority and we will provide updates as and when they are available.

Also, as the systems teams are still trying to research what may cause a delay in execution for some clients, in addition to internet connectivity or geographical lag, we would be interested to know what build of MT4 clients are using. Whilst we are not saying this is the cause of the issue, it is important for our research and helps with our communication with MetaQuotes.

Hello GoMarkets,

How about posting live tickdata for your current customers to test their ea's on. That is the only item I truly would like right now. That is way more important to me than anything else right now. Alpari-uk did it for their clients and dukascopy does it now for theirs. Will gomarkets do that as well?

Do you mean the facility where you can download data in a CSV format from the website? Or am I misundrstanding you?

Yes download actual gomarket tick data from your site instead of through the mt4 platform which gets it from the metatrader site. If you could do that I guarantee you would have the majority of mt4 customers anywhere as the only broker that does it currently is dukascopy and they get a lot of customers because customers can test their strategies on their live tick data.

I don't see any reason why we cannot do that. I will chat to the website team, but in reality I don;t know why we wouldn't be able to get this online within the next week.

some clients?? Its taking 4-8 seconds for market orders to go through. The execution is taking so fukin long that all day yesterday i was getting filled 3-5 pips off the market orders. Thats pathetic.
why some clients? Is it the ones making money ??

You didn't actually mention what build you were on - that would be some useful information for us. If you can also indicate which server you are connected to (visible from the connection status in the bottom right hand corner) that would be great as I suggest you connect to 'main' not 'DC1'. I would welcome any feedback to see if that helps at all.
How often do you update the version available for download from your website? That's the version I use(v4, build 225) and I believe this is pretty much the standard version around since the metattrader guys are now busily working on MT5....

Are you looking in the right place for the source of the problem or just beating around the bush? May be I can show you the way: Search your liquidity provider for 'Virtual Dealer Plugin' or 'Metatrader Manager' and you will find the cause of the execution delays. I don't think you have the will or the ability to fix this problem.

Hi PipStar, just out of curiosity did you experience any other brokers (as you've used many) quite the way you've had with GoMarket since I see you driving quite a hard line with them? You seem to be bent on keeping them "straight and honest" which is a good thing, especially if you know what you are talking about. This would help those who have money with them.

I have personally opened a live account with them just before I met you but I have not deposited any funds as yet. I have since asked them a few questions so far but have got nothing in return from them after a week.

With other brokers, even opening a demo account I already had "helpful" reps or account managers respond to me.

Earlier, I thought GoMarkets might have been a good option since I had wanted to find a broker accepting NZD as account currency but since having done more leg work, I have decided to use USD as the base account currency, which opens up more room for selection of a more suitable broker, more ECN rather than MM.

No, I have not come across a broker that delays every trade. Unless you are dealing with a bucketshop located in Belize this doesn't happen on a regular basis.
