N2FX - 1/5/15 Minute Pattern Trades

Price came back to 3591 and is sitting on top of the line for now on the 15 min bar.

Watching how it plays out here, should move back above 00, but I have no trade setups at this time.

15 min chart.

Here was the actual 15 min system Long shown with the arrow (lower circled area) on the break above the body at 3577, I missed this trade.

I took the 3591 break shown with the arrow entry and X for exit.

I took the actual GU long on the 15min system, only getting 3 pips, then re-entering again for 10 pips after it stalled above my previous entry point.

Yesteday I cleared +118 pips, and so far today I am up +23 pips.

The movement has been reasonably predictable from the start of the market, and that has helped gain a few more pips then normal.

When price goes dead, I get concerned, and in the past few months I have made it a rule to stay out when it is not moving.

The 15min bar held price above the 91 line, and EU has made the move back towards resistance at 3617 area, GU and GJ are dropping now, so not sure if one pair will lead the other.

I see range for now on EU and GU, but were at the new Hour here now, let's see which leads us, and where....

Gap filled on GJ, EJ is starting downward.

Looks like we may get some selling off before London closes in 35 minutes.

I am only watching it here, not interested much in trades on EU at this time.

Watching for the move up to stall on EJ around 126.79/82 level, then shorts possible.

That was a nice stall at 126.77, then I had short entry at 126.71 for 10 pips, got out of that quick before the hour closed.

Looking for 126.52, was another nice stall on that move up, no strength, also EU is coming down some.

So close, the 126.52 was my target, I let it run back up on me but still closed that short with +7, was looking for 15 to 20 pips.

All 4 pairs setting up 15min signals long.
Watching last 15min body lines for breaks and entry.
Monitoring only, but will take one pair if it looks clear.
EJ break 126.65 and should be good for 7 pips.

I have to go move some cabinets, always good to get away from the charts for a few hours.

Back at Sydney/Asia to review and trade.

Thanks for the commentary, J. I think I am beginning to see the beginnings of a method. I am glad I caught you live this afternoon, as it is difficult to follow this a few hours later. Much appreciated.

Sometimes I really wonder how many traders see the type of method used to be profitable.

I hope you can find a nugget along the way to help you become successful.

This type of trading took me 5 years to develop, and I have a long way to go still.

I would love to learn your trading method and contribute in your thread. But i see that this is your trading journal and you might have explained your method elsewhere. Can you please point me to where or what i can read to get a better understanding of your trading method.

Asia gave the clue, just had to wait for that area to break, it was very clear for a couple of hours.

I took entry short at 3585 and targeted 10 pips, it bounced around a few minutes, and then just broke down.

Asia does this lots, and when they give a sign, we take them to the bank.

Look at that rejection candle, that says MONEY, in Asia, just let it form, and break, all good.
