Wus..Weekly has closed with an BUOB, actually outside the previous three week candles, yet all inside the influence of those bearish, March and December monthlies.

Close is on the descending trendline.

Daily closed with another BUOB yet 100 and 50 pointing down yet, so...your guess is as good as mine. Maybe ranging ( .9400<>.9200) with spikes up'n down.

Is it going to have another go at .9900 or head for .7700?????

Aussie not quite rallying even with the perspective of future rate hikes.

Watch the next instalment of this fascinating saga next week at the same time!!

I propose a toast. Strat's thread has reached over the 1,000,000 view mark. I believe this happened last week. According to my calculations the thread is being viewed, recently, at just over 4000 times a day. Cheers to Strat and everyone's success. Thanks all for the education.

I believe I have processed all the recent membership registration requests. Because there were so many in a short period, I want to be sure I didn't miss anyone. If you requested to be registered on The Path of Learning but did not receive something from me stating you were now registered on the path, please PM me and I'll get you taken care of.

Hi Soso

Thanks for this. It will be quite interesting to find out what comes out of this, as Katyn was also a big problem for Russians to admit after all theses years.

Its sad for us to lose 2 presidents at the same time but life goes on.

Think Strat is gonna roast me for this and the reason I don't post here very much(I'm more of a lurker) is that I don't really trade true Strat style.

Anyway here goes......

My problem with these trades is that they all seem to be getting in at the top of waves.

Now I think we can all see that the Big boss and Boss are going up so why don't we enter on pullbacks.

On the chart below there are a couple of good entry points that get us in at lower prices on a pullback.

As I said I'll probably get a roasting for this and I know it's not true Strat trading but please feel free to point out the error of my ways.

Maybe because you would be buying into a clear resistance area?

In fact it seems to be coming back to retest it now as support, we'll see

Baniu continues to lead us. That would be three big figures, my friend. Now that is an example of how to use Strat's method to achieve an early move return, in contrast to the question a few posts ago. That trade was/is painlless.

Because the basic method does not allow for entry between support and resistance. All entries are at support or resistance.

To Strat and the Expert team, I would be grateful for an explanation of the causes and meaning of a gap as seen on today's EURUSD chart.

Does it have any relevance to PASR?

Thanks

I know Strat may have a different explanation, but for those interest in candle sticks and Steve Nisson's take try Googling Falling and rising windows.

Basically gaps form a new support or resistance area.

Just based on the recent news it might have to do with the European Union offering to underwrite Greece. Exactly how/why that caused a gap in the Eur currencies..

Take a look at where price stopped on this gap up tonight.
The 127.2 fib is an important fib level and also it has stopped at the level where the price broke the previous trendline support (pink dot). Often price comes back to retest a broken trendline and does not go all the way and test the trendline but just the level at which the trendline broke.
This one will be an interesting one to watch because technically this is a double bottom also.

Hi Nicolahttp://cdn.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I have this one on the radar for a while now, this gap overnight was quite a big jump in price and upward movement. On my chart, the price is just above old demand DSRI, 50 and SR so there is quite big confluence happening here, and I am observing any retest of the lines here, however the price I am interested in is above 1.3820 for a long.

Not sure what caused the gap, but I went short. Today tested the 50MA and will probably drop to Fridays close
