DislikedIncreasing the volume after you loosed a trade to recover back from the one you lost is martingale. And it is so whatever the method you use to enter in the market.
And believing or not believing the martingale concept have nothing to do with Ichimoku
As I don't think the Ichimoku method say something about having more chances to have a true kumo breakout after a false one...
There is no reason to believe so and so there is no reason to increase the volume when it happens
And you can't say there is one unless you have done, for exemple, some...Ignored
DislikedMost of the major breakouts are preceded by a false breakout (No I do not have stats on that but have spend way more than 5000 hours in front of an Ichimoku chart) - Breakout defined as price and chikou free from cloud while tenkan and kijun move in the same direction away from cloud.
And the concept works for me. Only want to share. You do not have to trade this way. And please note that I am scalping on the 5M and 15M and sometimes do entries on the 1M.
Edit: I always look at the higher time frames to see where price may be heading.Ignored
DislikedMore than 5000 hours is indeed a lot...
It's good if it works for you and as you say if you share something (and it's a kind initiative), it's only for people willing to follow the advises
I just wanted to insist about the martingale thing as there are lot of people in the past that claimed "this martingale is different from others" and it was like all others in the end
Though it could be interesting to do some stats about kumos breakouts to see if there is really, quite often, a false breakout before a major one. And so whatever you intend...Ignored

Before entry - are you willing to risk the amount of pips between the initial stoploss and the entry point?Ignored
DislikedHi Kinko,
How about if we put the SL at the SpanA (below line of the red kumo cloud). It's about 20 pips (1,3417 - 1,3398). Is it too small for 5M TF ? For a big green candle, I think it's enough .... what do you think ?
Thanks.

DislikedHi,
Some one (she has invested in Forex for more than 5 years), told me that on Mondays, the price will (almost) always go to the opposite way, especially at the market open time. Is that true ?
Thanks.

DislikedYes I will do that but someone else may decide the risk is to high and not take the trade at all. It also depends on what is going on in the higher timeframe.(I have not looked at it - only selected a good example) A personal decision I presume.Ignored
DislikedI would love to see kiwi continue upward, but I'll wait until they break the resistence they are at right now. Many usd pairs are sitting at resistance, has me cautious...Ignored
