Bob, amazingly see you have reduced DD a lot. congrats!

I am just wondering how you get so many MPTM +10 every day. After an buy order is opened by 6X6 EA when 6MA (shift 0) is above 6MA(shift 1) then subsequently colsed by MPTM at BE, do you put EA on to have another order before the shift 0 to go above shift 1 again? If not, it is difficult for me to imagine how you get so many +10, since you only have a few primary and secondary buys per day. If possbile could you share the transaction history of these MPTM 12 at +10 = 120 and when you will open another order for thoese paris. Hope this not offence just trying to get a full picture of your demos.

by the way, is this a real account or demo account? If demo, the spread same as real one?

I dont turn my EAs off or have them trade once and quit. The MPTM works really welll when price stagnates and just bounces around. I dont have time to record the MPTM trades, this is taking too long every morning for me already. I am trying to figure out how I can shorten this process since I start teaching in an hour. This is my live account.

OK my top 11 pairs and alternates:
This gives me 2 of each: aud, cad, chf, gbp, nzd,
4 of each eur, usd, jpy
aud/cad - aud/nzd this matc hes minor or commodity currencies together. As I have stated before minor currencies can get squashed by the larger currencies.
chf/jpy - eur/jpy - eur/usd - eur/cad - eur/nzd
gbp/jpy - gbp/usd - usd/chf - usd/jpy
Alternatives: the aud/jpy, eur/jpy, are all similiar so choose one. The Aud/jpy is not as volatile as the gbp/jpy if you want less movement but still like some volatility but it will do long trends more. The most important thing is you dont want to be heavily investment into any one currency. If the EUR/NZD is too volatile for your tastes you can replace it with nzd/chf or nzd/jpy. I just happen to like the eur/nzd pair and the way it flies around the chart.

Most volatile pairs: eur/nzd and gbp/jpy can be replaced with aud/jpy nzd/jpy nzd/chf for less volatility. __________________

Bob, I used the 6X6 EA downloaded from post#1172. For buy 6X6EA, it immediately open another order at the ask price and MPTM close order at BE with bid price.

Do you use the same EA, how do you reenter next trader (i am not asking for 2L re-rentry)? Is the EA that you use only enter another trader once MA shift0 go above shift 1 and turn around to cross again?

Sorry for so many questions as i dont understand how your EA enter another non-2L trader.

I only posted a 4 digit version, are you using a 5 digit MT4?? If the MPTM closed the trade the EA would immediatly open a new trade if the 6 is still crossing the 6. I will post a complete system after I get everything tested. It will have 1-4 Level trades etc. The MPTM you are using is it a BE only or does it BE at +10?

Hi Bob, the system i used is 4 digit MT4 (forex.com demo account) and MPTM BE with 5/15 pips settings.

I think Toothman encountered the same problem, and that is why he needs to change code to stop EA from opening another trade. He needs manually remove the EA from chart.

Why do so many people think this technique is a waste of time? I just discovered this system, and I made over 100 pips today on the "primary signals" on the EURJPY and USDCHF. This is totally worth my time! I guess this technique takes more patience than most traders have?

Bob's original 6x6 version along with the trade manager as he said will reenter after a TP or retrace to BE + . He's doing quite well with it and certainly gets more trades reentering. I may go back to this version but for now I've altered it to not reenter. I don't like how price can end up in the middle of the chart after a TP and then reopen another trade. You can wake up in the morning after a nice TP and already be down several pips on a new trade. Of course with the right price action you could be up several pips. So far for the month, I'm up 330 pips with a DD of 874. Worst DD during that period was around 1400.

I changed the MPTM to 20 +10 from 15 +5. Really dont know which one is better. I did get more +5 but the only way to know is to run a demo on both and see which one works better. Toothman is a more conservative voice to my system. I am more of a dare devil and will take trades he doesnt. When I am at a DD of 3000 he probably just crossed the 1000 mark. If you are a conservative trader or new to this system I would follow his advice more than mine. He thouroughly understands the system and can answer your questions. Great guy to learn from. So far I have preferred to let the EA reenter and keep taking trades whereas he takes one and stops. You will have to decide which one works for you. When I get to my final version of this I am thinking of High/low above red line with a 6x6 cross and below a 6x6 cross below and then changing to one trade at some point. I may put a filter in like enter at the cross but no more reentries after 20 or 30 pips past the cross. But before I do I want to see what happens with price action.

In the Excel, open price of order is same as previous order closing time, and new order suffer the spread from previous closing price.

If I am not wrong, you reenter whenever cross (you are working on filters of course) and Toothman only enter once per EA unless he manually remove and put the EA back. For either type, should the EA have the transaction like what i attached.

Is the version 6X6 correct one? I read through the codes, the transactions i have are extractly follow the 6X6 EA logic, this behavior defeinitely is not acceptable for you, toothman and me too.

The 6x6 posted is the only one right now. I have not made any changes to the basic EA except to TP at 100 pips. Right now I am reentering after a MPTM and that is working great. The only thing I may work on this weekend is no more entrances after a certain amount of pips from the cross. For example if it takes the 100 pip profit I dont want it to reenter again. The reenters off of the MPTM dont bother me because I want to be in the trade. This is the philosophy: when the 6 crosses the 6 I want to be in the trade. If price bounces around a bit and hits a couple of MPTM TP that is ok with me. that is what I want. Sometimes price action is in the mud and this bouncing up and down is perfect for the MPTM. At least I capture something. If price goes against me than I wait for the next level entrance and away we go again. I dont mind the DD as much as other people. That is because I have had a lot of practice using the 2.4.2 recovery system and have gotten good at it. So no amount of DD bothers me. I also will add more money to my account if it passes the 20% mark. So if DD is more than 20% of my account I will add money to keep it out of trouble. This is working out real well for me.

Form April 5 to 9 the MPTM has closed 64 +10 trades for a total of 640 pips. DANG thats good.

Sorry I havent had a chance to answer all your comments. Love dealing with fellow educators, they seem to have the patience to learn the business and able to deal with its ups and downs. I guess much like teaching students in school. I have been in China almost 8 years now and the language is very difficult. My children picked it up but I have just a child's ability to speak it. Mainly my problem is I dont really need to use it here. I am one of the few foreigners here with an American wife (married 35 years this June) so I only speak English at home. I teach in a local Chinese Medical University so they only want me to speak English there. I have my school for foreign children so they only speak English there, I am the administrator but my wife is the boss (principal, she runs the place I just make sure we are legal and the bills are paid). I have learned enough to survive on the streets, buy things, take taxis, trips, and do some small talk. Chinese is a tonal language and it took three years for my ears to pick up the different tones. MA, MA , MA and MA are four different words in Chinese depending on the tone you use with the sound. So if you dont hear the tone you have no idea what they are saying and if you dont speak the correct tone they have no idea what you are saying. One tone MA means horse, another tone means mother, another tone means hemp ................. so I am sorry but I didnt mean I wanted to smoke your mother or No I didnt mean to call your mother a horse .......... and so on. Since I teach in a University they speak the common Mandarin taught in the schools but out on the streets they speak a form of Cantonese called Nanning Hua here. If you go to another town like BeiHai they will speak BeiHai Hua. So even though Cantonese is the language of the area in the cities, each city has its own version. Then when you get into the countryside you got all the dialects and each village will have its own versions of each dialect. There is Zhuang, Miao, Yao, etc. etc. One of the reasons China has not been a unified country in its past is it never really had a national language until Mao set up a standard Mandarin and then had all the schools teach the same language. He also unified the written language into a simpler form so it could be taught nationwide. We are now seeing the rise of a powerful country because of these improvements. Before this language prevented the Chinese from being a unified group of people and as their history books attest the foreigners took advantage of the situation. So China has never really been able to expand outside of its borders without a unified language. Well enough talk, back to trading.

Maybe i am bit stubborn or stupid but i dont think you understand my questioin.

To illustrate, belwo sell transactions for one pair. Those orders are all closed by MPTM with 5 BE pips profit and new order opened immediatelly openned by EA at a few SPRED pip lower.

In any cirstumstance i dont think anyone want this kind of reenter. bascially the postion is still open but MPMP causes the position lost spread pips whenever it closes an order. (Please correct me if this is the expected trading strategy).

For these transactions, the MA shift 0 is still under shift 1 that is why EA opened a new transaction. Do you reenter and what is the signal for you to reenter while shift 0 still under shift 1. (NOT cross up and cross down again, i understand you reenter when cross up and cross down again)

OK first it is working exactly the way it is suppose to work Price is entering and price retracing is causing you to get your +5. It did this 4 times. I use +10 and got it 2 times. Price then retraced and it is for now a negative trade. I got the same thing. Without the MPTM the EA would have entered and you would still be in a negative trade. You would have 0 pips in the bank and the broker still got his 5 pips for the spread. However, now you are in a negative trade but have 20 pips in the bank just like me. For me that happen 19 times yesterday and I put in the bank 190 pips. Without the MPTM I would not have had the 190 pips but much less. I only had 134 pips on non MPTM trades. Here is the only rule in trading that matters. How much money did the broker cut you this month? You cant have your broker cut you a check unless you have money going into the bank (closed trades). So go to your 4H chart and take a look at the aud/jpy for the week. It had two cross downs or two profitable trades if taken for the week. I was having trouble with my internet so I didnt get the first one but I did get the 2nd trade for 38 pips. That would have been my week without the MPTM. However, with it I also got 12 +10 for 120 pips making my week pocketed 158 pips just on one pair. With just the cross you enter make a profit and exit. With the MPTM you also pick up some pips with the bouncing around. Yes it reenters when it is in the same candle but if price is not going anywhere it may not reenter after that. The only thing that matters to me is what am I putting in the bank and the rest is how can I zero out this trade and go on. How much money the broker gets is irrelevant? He is in business for the same reason I am. I want him to make money so he stays in business and my money is safe. So for the 13 trades I made 138 pips. Aud/jpy spread is 5 pips so he made 65 pips. Compare that with I made 38 pips and he made 5 pips. I will gladly take the 138 and he can have his 65. We both win.

Here is another way of looking at it. I entered my first level trade back on March 22 with the aud/jpy. I am 3 weeks into this series of trades. Long time to hang in there. I have had 21 closed trades and 3 open trades. My DD at this point is 726 which is very high, dont have that happen often but it happens. 18 of my closed trades are MPTM; 15 are +10; 3 are +5 for 165 pips. I had two other profit trades of 61 and 50 for 111 and one losing trade closed at -14 for a total of 97 non mptm trades. 97 + 165 Total 262 pips in the bank. 726 DD - 262 (inthe bank) = 500. With 3 open trades on the board I need 166 pip retracement to break even pip wise, however with the larger lots as I reenter it is closer to 100 pips to break even. I will enter a 4th level Monday at the R line and wait for my retracement and be out at BE or if price bounces around keep picking up my MPTM until price does move. If price goes against me. I will drop my 1st level and try to BE on the rest. Lets say I drop my 1st level at -500. I already profited 262 so my loss on that trade will be 238 but I will be playing to make that up with fresh trades and will wipe that deficit out in 2 or 3 days. So my profit curb will take a dip and then continue upward. This is how my system works and if you can ever get it, (and I know it is difficult to grasp all of this, so if you dont get it, just keep plugging away until you do or go on to another system). But you must understand, in this series of trades, I may not make a profit but I am not going to take a loss either. I will have other trades that will profit and my losers I try to break even. Bottom line in the long run, I make money, my broker makes money, we are both happy.
