Start writing your journal if you can here on FF explaining your entries my be this will help you understand your trading faults better..

Risk only 1-3% equity my friend thats all
From 500$ you can make 250,000 in a matter of 256 trades...Fact.
Patience is the key.

My thoughts on AUD.. A/U is no longer in an uptrend. It's not in a down trend. It's topping out, and will range until it changes direction. The SMA's are curving down, it may take months to get a real trend. It's a hard pair to trade, especially when it's at this situation, with no clear levels of support, but there is resistance that may or may not work..... P.S. EUR/AUD is near 1993 low of 1.425, but that's not too significant.

Very well explained..I totally agree with you ..
I think we will walk into Summer with a very tight range...due to some reason.
Lets see...If this becomes a scalpers paradise...

hey geppyg..... you didn't mention 250,000 what's...... are we talkin about dollars..... if so, that's some mighty fine tradin..... that key must be made of gold.....

speakin of patience, the patience meter which is still in production has audusd almost peggin the top......

and wouldn't you know , there is a hayseed that's short.....h

CAD/JPY..anyone ever traded that pair?
Had a look at the chart yesterday.

- Trendline broken to the downside
- (was) on the way back up to retest the broken trendline.

As I am not really familiar with that cross I only went for it on my demo-account
pending short got triggered today @ 93.55 and is running nice.
(Target 91.20-91 area)

What do you guys think of such more or less "exotic" crosses?
with the high spread not good for scalps of course

it seems like a good trade, but the spread is not good so you need to have a longer term plan

I closed them all, this time of day is risky, we saw the retracement, it may go up again, I dont like it after all happened

you are right. I sometimes take those trades on my demo-account. set for longer term.
even though I don't place a lot of trades in demo account my results there are still way better that on my real account..
(having a lot of 500+ pips trades)
Not yet ready to let my real trades run that long. But maybe I start doin that (with a small real account)

btw.. our gold-trade holds above 1160.. Got to go in a while. and I'd sure prefer it in the green

Shahab,

If you get a chance could you please let us know:
1. Do you plot both Daily & Weekly S/R's on your graphs? If any other S/R, which ones and how do you obtain them?
2. Do you utilize any MA's on your charts? Any specific to the TF you are trading?
3. What is your favorite TF to trade off of?
4. How many pips away from the S/R do you often set your pending orders at?
5. What typical size SL do you use?
6. Do you have a specific number of pips that you try to target on each trade or do you shoot for the next S/R in the direction of your trade?
