Hi Kinonen,

I will recommend you, not to trade with so many indicators in the chart, youŽll end up with 2 telling go long and 2 telling u go short, you'll end up confused.

With Ichimoku you can trade it with the 5 lines, without the need of so many indicators, also have in mind that all this indicators are lagging indicators.

Just my 2 cents.

personally i have stopped sneering at other traders who use diffrent techniques or as some will say too many indicators as what matters most is decipline to rake in the profit pips consistently.

i have come accross succesfull traders who dont use indicators or even trendlines by trading on completely naked charts and make marvelous pips banked securely and some with lots of things on their charts that only themselves can read but their trading account reflects positively..

so there isnt any need to sneer cos the person you are laughing could be making a lot more than yourselves or you could ever imagine..lol

i love the way u think abut S/R mate, but what abut Ks and Ts ??!!!
i have noticed before that the Ks and Ts of the high TF are approx the cloud of the next lower TF

in EUR USD you will notice that the Ks and Ts of the 4hrs are approx the Kumo on the 1hr

let me know what u think abut these thoughts ??

well Cs is very important i agree about it , i even noticed that when it crosses the Ks it is a good signal , still i pref the Ks+Ts cross specially when it is a strong signal like the one we got on EUR USD 1hr chart

but again ichimoku needs us to look at the whole picture with all the component not to isolate them , so Cs Ks Ts spanB spanA are very important together and they do the right function together

Hi,

What is the best method to trade sideways market with Ichi? What signals to use and how...I haven't quite mastered anything other than the Kumo breakouts.

GBP USD is sideways at the moment, for last few days? it seems to be range bound, but I keep getting it wrong too often and getting stopped out.

your help/advice much appreciates as usual.

also:

S and L lines plus stochs sometimes add to my cunfusion as to how to trade, for instance the GBP USD right now? is it consolidating for a continued up move, or will it continue range bound and drop again.....
