EURUSD is showing a possible OF reversal on 30mins (and 60 mins also). Same thing is showing up on GU and GY while EY is lagging behind a little bit. Let's wait and see what happens.

Im not sure it has much to do with the timeframes.. I do find trends are a bit more persistant on the higher frames but not so much the accuracy.. efficiency is a big thing with higher timeframe... usually you get much better risk:rewards and costs end up being relatively alot less. I trade much higher frames generally its easier to spread risk around more as well.. Im trading this stuff now simply because its easier to find trades to put in the thread in real time lol.. I would put u guys to sleep hunting for valid good setup high timeframe stuff.. youd accuse me of never placing a trade haha.. so thats why im doing fast stuff.. all in all it doesnt much matter the frame you use its just more cost effective on higher frames..and sometimes you can even get interest rate differentials and dividends and things likethat to pay you ..your processing costs back..

If you dont mind tho Ill do some more RZ and SZ stuff tomorrow lotta work and im tired..

This is a confused pair.
15 mins has already broken out top but not holding the peak level.
30 mins is slightly showing down but no good entry and could be moving up soon
60 mins is the same as 30.

so we have 15 mins leading the way (obviously) but not enough strength to conquer the peak. We have only just reached but not conquered yet, for now. Just got to wait to see how things will develop. Let the big guys move the market and then we will follow suit

Here we go, finally a trade today. bund futures 30mins. second push and entry on retracement. 1:1 reached, SL at BE and trailing all candles lows from now on

apart from the fact that i don't trade EU, the swing point was only broken but we are still below it. So no entry in any case for me

Look risky IMO. Looks like the retracement to the Daily Broken Support. Actually it looks a better short .... In any case I am not trading the Bund today so good luck with that

i wait for swing points to be broken for possible reversals setting up. once the context is there, i then wait for retracement and i want the entry to be on the other side of the swing that was broken. this tells me the peak was conquered, not only reached (ie stops getting triiggered and then turning again). so if the retracement holds on the other side of the barrier and the trigger candle is clean cut i take the entry. half of it goes at 1:1 and the rest is left running from BE+1 trailing lows (or highs if short)

i agree on a general view that the market could be down today but, i am not here to predict direction. i am here to make money and when a setup appears i take it. i will short below 123.06 AFTER we get a retracement and a trigger following the break of said level.

i am only following the market, i never try to anticipate it. not anymore at least.

Ok maybe not risky but the R/R to the short side was a lot wider (it may extend up to 30 ticks or more). Thats what I see.

In any case good trade.

So you entered short in that example?? after the failed breakout? This is what I suppose when you say "i want the entry to be on the other side of the swing that was broken"...

Or do you mean that simply you wait for retracement to have a better R:R long??

nope, i entered long. we are coming from below. we break a peak, i want entry to be above the peak. the other side of barrier from where we are coming from. maybe i did not explain it correctly. if so, pardon me. hope it is clearer now.

Ok...so I understood right about the long posizion...it's not clear when you say "i want entry to be above the peak" but in the original post you said "entry on retracement", so I understand that you enter on the retracement to have a better R:R ratio, and your entry is not above the peak, but below on the retracement..
