Yeah, we see what has become of my testing of, and recommendations of changes to, Orest's EA v1.18.

It's not that I haven't given indicators, and input, but there is a limit I guess to every one of us in how much we give, am I not correct?

Maybe after I make some real money, I'll feel differently. But at this point, my EA hasn't made me money, so I have no need to share something that hasn't made money for me yet (and is not really even completely tested by myself - I'm sure more changes will be needed).

Even Julius made money with his method before he shared it with the world.

I may never share my EA. And if I don't, whose business is it? There are others that have shown screenshots of programs or EAs or whatever that they have written, but didn't share the software. At least I'm being up-front and saying the same as the others have: My EA is for personal use. I hope you understand.

Well, if you got that outta what I said, then I guess I haven't given anything, just taken. Yeah right. Kinda reminds me of how Julius said he got more enemies after giving than he ever did before he gave anything.

Edit: And because of Deusomega, the "little" I already gave will be all I give. I'm outta here. What have you given again Deusomega? Oh yeah, you haven't given anything. Like I really have to justify myself to you. But just in case you forgot, Orest thought my BuyAllPairs was amazing, and I've received good compliments on the other indicators I gave too, from those that have used them (one even using words such as "kick-ass" if I remember correctly). So for you to be a smart-ass and act like I haven't given anything, shows either your ignorance or your stupidity, I'm not sure which. But if you're trying to get someone to give you something, you're going about it the wrong way I can tell you that.

Damn, another genius is getting upset.

Without Orest and Don, it would be unrealistic to trade this T101 method. People will be as dumb as primitive times opening 14 trades at a demo acccount EVERY week and still UNABLE to understand what heck is going on.

it is ok. I don't think Koso meant to be rude to you. Many of us deeply appreciate your contribution here that NONE has done before. Like I said before, if T101 sees your work, he'll be shocked and amazed. It is a little pityful that many of us can only use your indicator and feel totally amazed but unable to give meaningful feedback to you----i don't know what to improve about for your backtest indicator except that i hope i can move that green line too,

take it easy on negatives, and absorb positives. Don, you are the MAN!

Wtf? I was laughing at that guy acting like no one has given anything and its every man for himself. When people like you and Orest have given a crapload of stuff and received very little.

I guess a bad place to put the haha.. I suppose.

You're right I haven't given anything I'm no programmer and I have only been looking at this for a few days. But I will tell you anything I do find to thank you for your contributions.

on my IBFX mini LIVE and IBFX demo: Neither can lock profit as suggested by the screen display. profit can go from 1000$ to 100$. i observed this many times, not sure what the problem is on my end or inside the EA (didn't really look into the code).

for safety, you may use MPTM by SteveHopwood for TP, Profit-Locking and SL.

This is my first post on this thread and this morning I was 215 pips positive and the Orest 1.18 locked in profit at 110. Got stopped out on that level. So, it worked for me.

If I get upset and am rude, I am sorry. It's part of being human and me deciding not to take BS from me nor anyone else.

At one time I had a great sense of humor (class clown in fact, and wouldn't mind being in that frame of mind once again someday, but today calls for me to stay in technical mode until I reach my goal).

Something how days, evenings, nights, weekends, 36-hour-straight sessions coding until I pass out sitting in my chair, more gray hair, less hair overall, giving of myself to try and understand trading and coding, that yes, I need a vacation. But since I haven't had one yet because I haven't made the money yet, then I'm still on pins and needles for the last 2.5 years. I did have a vacation away from home a couple years ago, and just about the time I started to really feel my body and mind starting to come down and relax, a week had passed and I had to get back to work. My body wasn't able to go #2 because I couldn't relax internally even though by all outward accounts, I was totally relaxed. I think WAYYYYYYYYYYY too much. I wish I could turn it off sometimes, but have a very hard time doing so at this point.

Now look at the above paragraph, and tell me that you'd retain your sense of humor when you hate your job and are ready for freedom, but can't get it yet.

If I did take you wrong, and you in fact weren't trying to be a smart-ass, I am sorry. It may not be the last time either. Maybe I am a genius. I am also somewhat ADD I think, believe it or not.

But one thing that I nor Julius nor many people who have given their all to get to where they are at, the last thing people like myself have patience for is someone not willing to put in effort and hard work to get answers. Those who have made it have had to put in SOME EFFORT. I have, and haven't made it yet. Others have, and some have made it I'm sure. But they worked hard to understand, apply, demo, test, etc. (how many have learned coding so you could code your own strategy, and worked two years toward that point? There's not many like myself I can assure you)

IF it comes easy for any of you, be thankful. Most it is not easy for, and most aren't thankful quite frankly either. I'm not as thankful to God as I should be for the family and wife I have. Not counting finances (since I'm barely getting by if you count those), I am already a rich and very blessed man. I have a wife who adores me, and I adore her. I have family who loves me (they'd like to see me rest for real sometimes and quit thinking so much), what else really do I need?

If I have offended Orest, I'm sorry. If I have offended Julius, I'm sorry. There is more to life than money, and frankly I am so tired of thinking about money, I'm just really ready for freedom (and getting out of Memphis, TN), and I can definitely see money just being part of the job (only to be used to gain freedom and help others, but I am not the type of person that has to have the best - heck, I live in one of the worst, crime-ridden cities, drive a 14 year old car that has leaked water on the inside since I bought it very used after my 17 year old truck blew a head gasket, and I've had to remove the carpet from the car because I can't find where it's leaking, and I'm so busy working and then working at home, that I don't have the time nor inclination to do much else when I'm done with all that).

So if none of you understood before, I hope you understand now. Until I get a good long vacation after I make some money, I am not in "comedy" mode right now. With my face like a flint I am working towards that inevitable goal.

Having said all that, I've got to get off here and chillax (at least pretend even if I can't really).

I'm on same path with you. just i didn't really spent 30+ hours straight. 6 or 7 maybe (why i suck in coding ) , similar, since the end of 2007, start coding, 2 yrs passed, one failure after another, endless frustration, many loops of hope-excite-disappoint. reaching a point doubting that forex may not be where i should be.

however, your story inspires me, although you have not made money yet. YOU WILL SOON.

Man take a pill, you do think WAY to much and thats your problem. Have you ever thought that youre spending sooooo much time on this that this maybe is not it!! I mean you havn't seen any money from this, and frankly the system is the creation of a used car sales man from what I gather!! Just some thoughts .
