Guys, this is our very own CodyB, our long time friend whose wisdom and suggestions have played a great role in our trading. I'd listen to him carefully and read every single word of his post to make sure I understand what it means.

Hi Osman,

Thank you for your response to my question, I will check with FXCM customer service for the Meta Trader platform and then come back here to find out how to install Ichi Monitor on to it.

Again your help here Osman and all other members chipping in leaves me speechless.

2 o'clock will be long reads and 4 will be short reads with 3 as a neutral point. then work your way down to the TF you trade for better entries

Hi!

I was looking for some indicators and i ended up reading this page about Ichimoku and ichi360 lol!
And this method seemed to be a pretty good one for me so i'm a new member because of this thread

I read the wiki this morning and i decided to post an analysis about EURUSD Weekly so that you could tell me if you see mistakes in it...

Here is the graph analysis :

I think EURUSD will go down further after the current pause and i should check about the "pause end" in Daily/H4
(Or just the H4 as the monitor arrows all seems to tell me "go short now" lol)

Many thanks for your reply.

1) It's clear, thanks.
2) I mean this:
We are NOT open Long & Short at the same price. But we open a future/pending order (not direct executing order at the running price). Example : Now is about 1 minute before the NFP report, and the price is 1,4000 . We assume that the report will give a big effect, maybe 30-50 pips up or down in just 3-6 minutes. So we put a pending order (NOT direct executing) to put a LONG trade if the price reach 1,4005 (5 pips away from current price). And we also put a pending order to put a SHORT trade if the price reach 1,3995 (also 5 pips away from current price). For save our trading, we put a SL of about 10 pips & Profit about 30 pips. If the price goes quickly up, we get profit for a long ORDER, and at that time we close / cancel our short pending order, and visa versa if the price goes down.
Is it a big Risk trade ?

But 5M, 15M, 30M, 1H are in the diffrent direction (Bearish). At that time, we may not put a trade ? Shall we wait until 5M - 1H also in the Bullish direction ?

2) May be I'm wrong. What I mean is the chart on thread 11942, it's RED & BLUE in color, just below the Ichimoku chart. What is it for?

Hi pedma!

I'm not Asher, but I try to answere.

1. If all the signal happened in one time it's the dream of us. But it's not to offen. If I get a signal, first I check the higher timeframes (are they the same directions, where are the S,R levels, etc) If I like to be more accurate, or the R/R not the best for me, I check the lower tfs.
2. It's the Ichi 360 directional movement indi, Asher use it for restrenght the signal of ichi. You can find it in the attachements.

I've just discoverded 'Ichimoku Forever' and don't plan to miss any more.

Here is the new version of Ichimoku Monitor for you, this is v4 and there a couple of additions:

 

  1. C/K: Chikou-Span against the Kijun-Sen
  2. C/C: Chikou-Span against the Kumo Cloud

You will also find a new property in the Properties box which will show / hide the Legends for this Indicator.

I just noticed that i wrote "Bullish" instead of "Bearish" everywhere...also the Shikou Span definitly seems "Bullish"
