Hehe I do regret not taking a more aggressive short on the EUr/usd, I had more luck with that this week.
I'm holding my Aud short, average position is 9170. Aud hasn't fallen as much as I hoped. I still won't long though, at least not at this price to me it's just too expensive. 8700-88 where I'm more comfortable to long at. oh well let's see next week. I would like to long too, I like that 4% carry over

sitting at the backyard under the tree, surfing the net on my laptop... the weather is just perfect, cloudy 15 degrees celsius.

i pulled out my chart and tried to analyze my trades and position for the whole week last week, particularly yesterday and i find out and realized how stupid and blinded was i last night.... and let my egor run

My outlook for AUD:

Various charts are setting up some interesting patterns coming into the RBA; if I had to guess, I'm going to say they're not going to raise rates this time.

Of course on the AUD/USD chart we're getting some nice resistance to the upside (as I'm sure everyone sees).

What's more interesting are the AUD/NZD and AUD/CAD charts though.

Nearing some good resistance near 1.31 on AUD/NZD (I have a gut feeling the daily chart pulls a reverse head and shoulders first before it moves up, meaning a pullback to 1.2870 before a clean break well beyond 1.31... assuming it does eventually get a clear break).

AUD/CAD is sitting on big support near 0.9270 (I'm currently trying to close some longs before the announcement at 0.9300); this triangle formation on the daily chart may FINALLY break to the downside (though, I don't see the CAD strengthening a lot more just yet against the USD... rather I see this coming from AUD weakness... not a huge pullback, but perhaps down to the 0.9000-0.9050 level worst case scenario by the end of this week or next).

Yeah I doubt they'll raise rates. I'm still tentatively bullish, but will probably scalp for downside prior tomorrow's meeting.

AUD/USD H4 has formed what seems to be an ascending triangle, suggesting a possible break above the 0.921 resistance that has formed since 1 April 2010.

Of course, if the bull run that started last week is due solely to expectations of a rate hike, then we could well be set for a collapse back to .9000 if the hike doesn't take place.

I'm short biased but don't trust PA.
What seems to be likely that a retrace downwards or a break upwards will be large.
Entered a hedged position @ 0.92 where one position will be closed when direction has found.
Question is what would be proper levels to descide that direction has been chosen, I think of 0.91 and 0.93
Appreciate your thoughts.....

your strategy is good i can understand due to Cash rate and job advertisement data you are taking this action but i have checked it in all time frames in my views i can't see it more then 9280 for today and this week i know its throughout bullish but nothing can go straight in one direction without retracement in daily chart we can see that it is range bound since past 5-6 days it is a same situation as it makes its previous high of .9250 it was range bound and then made a high and went down so i think this time again it will test 9280-9300 max and then go down but let see how it goes i have PO @ .9270and 9300 with 1 standard lot let see how it goes and my SL is above .9340 guys what are your views please post
