that's why I said 13:31 only one min later the market exploded ) the movements were like the CHF intervention yesterday.

Considering that the market is very thin today, it is an interesting situation.

Hate to bother ya'll with this.

Q1. What effect if any, does an inverted kumo have on Ichimoku trading? I have googled, yahooed, dog piled and I can not get an answer. I know it has to mean something or it would not be happening.

Also I have an Ichimoku indicator that when you go properties, and click on the color tab instead of having the names of the different parts of Ichimoku, there are numbers.

Q2. Is there a way I can figure out when the kumo is inverted or non-inverted.

NFP aint so bad to be traded sometimes. n ichimoku still gives a great signal at news releases. entered short at the price tag.

positions taken soon after nfp news released

for gu, it fails to close above the important level @ 1.5300 as clearly shown on 4h chart. will see next week how this pair will perform. atm, will leave this position opens until the trend shows some reversal on 30m

Hi Asher & others,

Please see attached image, USD-SGD 4H. Why the indicator for 4H (ichiMonitor V3) is not the same with the real price ? What do I have made wrong ?
Note: Other pairs are right.

Yes, you're right Vic. The price is green (up), but on indicator is red (down). It is happend only to USD/SGD, other pair are not.

I'm so stupid.... ... The indicator shows down (red) is NOT depend ONLY to the last 4H candle. May be it's too late now for me ... I must take a sleep now ... Good night ..

the arrow is red cause this is the realtion of the price WRT to the Kumo
so when the price is below the kumo u'll get the red arrow and vice versa.
have a look at another TF , or if u have a chart where the price is below the kumo and u have green arrow just post in here

I hope you wouldnt get me wrong but I'm really trying to understand why are you guys trading today ? Trading with NFP release is like pure gambling and not trading, we're no big sharks who get the proper environment and news breaks in their trading room ... all we can do is to analyse a trend on chart and then make some money from it.

Dont take me wrong, I'm just trying to learn if there is something I'm missing or if its a good idea to trade on days like this when its a Good Friday, thin volume, highly volatile and NFP release ... do we really have to trade everyday in order to be profitable ???
