After being down with no modem for 48 hours. I am up again. Great Friday trading though and a great week. Couple more days left in the month and looking great. Eur/Cad came in strong for me with + 138 but also had 3 or my 5 plus 10 for a 168 total on the day. Dang.

You're pretty slick. Really nice month considering how it started. I'm currently at +1212 since the 12 of the month with about the same DD as you. I'm thinking of going to a BE +10 setting. How far are you letting trades go before your BE+10 kicks in? I've been letting trades get +20 before BE +5 kicks in.

I have used two different setting +15 for +5 and +20 for +10. It is hard to tell which one is better but either way picking up those extra 40-70 pips every day is great. Kind of like a scalping kicker. It used to be we sometimes waited days for price to move to get a profit but now almost every day we get something. It is nice to see sometimes I have gotten 2 or 3 +10 on a currency before it goes into DD like -70 so it helps cover some of the DD. Next week I may set up 2 demos and compare +5 with +10 and try to do identical trades. See which way pickes up more. I have also added a jump of +30 and it moves profit another 10 pips. So far it has not been hit.

One of the things missing from every trading course and thread I have seen is showing people what to do when you get into trouble. Being open and honest about my trading both good and bad I think is more helpful than anything. I wish someone had taken the time to show me how to get out of trouble instead of just winning trades. I lost a lot of money learning how to deal with bad trades but now I think I am pretty good at getting out of trouble.

Well, I did like how the month was ending. Nothing like Forex moving in one direction again. Hello real world, its jpy time to trend. MPTM is doing a great job for me. What a great trading invention. Everything but the USD and GBP today. GO EURO, JPY, CHF, NZD and AUD. I have given up trading the eur/chf. Can any currency move any less than that pair? I added the gbp/jpy yesterday during the day. It hit my MPTM 4 times plus took a Jump profit too. Interesting

Broke the 2000 pip barrier for the month. Havent done that in a while. Man what a month started off in disaster mode and then this last week over a 1000 pips so far. I believe in my system, it works over the long run.

March started out as my worse month taking two weeks to overcome the big hit on the first day. Then things really began to swing and by the end I had my 2nd best month ever. WOW, YIPPEEE. HURRAH. I have already gotten more pips in the first 3 month this year than the last 5 months of last year. That is 8 months of running a proft. Now we hope that the jpy will retrace and April doesnt start out like March. SHEESH.

Ok here we go, it is 65 for and 60 against my method. In 8 months I have posted my trades every day for all the world to see. Lets see ............. hmmmmmmmm .............. that is a total of ............. +11,527 pips and only 1 losing month. I bet those 60 guys will buy someones high price method but they dont think one you can follow for free is worth it. Dont you just love the average Forex trader.

Just to show you how well the MPTM is working. I am deep into the gbp/jpy however, it has hit my +10 5 times for +50, one jump for +20 and I took one TP for +62 for a total of +132 so far. Once I get my retracement I expect an easy break even or even a nice profit on the total trade sequence. Amazing how this system is working. Love it. Just for the math. I am 527 total pips down right now. If price retraces 150 pips that is 450 on 3 levels leaving me 77 pips in the hole. However, I slightly increase the lot size on each level so I actually need less than that to break even. With 132 in the bank already I even need less to break even. I do expect to make a profit overall on this trade but if price continues to go against me I will use my 2.4.2 recovery system and recover another way.

Hi Bob --

I do like H4 trading and appreciate the good logic of exceeding and re-entering the MA 40 outer Bol. band.

Do I have it correctly that you (the EA I suppose) enter as the white line (the quicker Sto) crosses? Is the entry at the crossing point . . . or close of bar (I'm guessing not)? Just trying to figure out exactly when entry is specified.

Also trying to make my peace with the 2.4.2, not that I doubt it works, but my discomfort with such large (temporary) negatives. That's totally my problem.

Still, I am surprised you need to go the the 2.4.2 too often. Perhaps over your months of trading you really haven't.

If you get tired of praise, well, time to move on because like so many before me I thank you for your astonishing efforts on your forums with their voluminous detail and careful working out of things.

I guess I am at a loss with you on why your poll has some low rankings. As you say, that must have never really tested the system. Guess they plan to keep losing.

I am not quite sure which EA you are referring too. Even though we used BB bands at the beginning we have switched to dividing the screens into thirds now. DD seems to be something I cant avoid unless you use stop losses. Basically my stop loss is after it crosses 400 deep. I seldom have to use it maybe once or twice a month, I think I had one month with 3. The other side is I keep making these profits almost every day. THe problem is I dont know which currency will trend like crazy and usually every month one will. This time it is the JPY last time it was the GBP. Before that I think it was the EURO. If I could ever figure out which currency was going to do that every month it would be a perfect world for me. Despite all of that the DD prevents me from overextending myself with too large of lot size and now I dont wipe out accounts like I did years ago. So it has been a good lesson for me. Thanks for the compliment, I only publish what I have learned and I have never been able to keep my profits trend trading. To much whiplash and to many stop losses. At least this way, as you can see over the months, I have been able to be profitable. Good luck and I hope I have helped you.

OK I have replaced my wires, splitters, modem, wireless, updated Windows 7, ............. maybe this week I can keep my connection to the internet. Without it the mptm does not work. Sooooo ......... Largest DD I have ever carried. Will have to decide monday on 1st level aud/jpy and chf/jpy. The one problem I am facing now is other currenices are not in trading position to help produce gains to offset my DD. A couple of gbp trades but they dont look strong right now. This one could be interesting getting out of. UgHHHHH.
