i've demoed this with alpari uk for about a week and double the account almost daily and its kinda scary

my 250 $ account is @ 4000 ......can you believe that ....

reasons are low demo spreads and ........ ofourse weird money management....

i risk almost 25 % for the 3rd move down after breakout and .. some other sure shots....


i am happy with the system ...... i trade london and newyork ....

ofcourse the money management is the key ......... damn i should have been more careful .... the 0.5 demo account spreads of alpari gave me a false sense of security .......

liteforex 2 pips spreads killed my first real account......... i am gonna fund my account again today ........

maybe it was just a bad day yesterday .....

newbie to trading and I would like to learn your trading strategy. I have some questions which i know most of all the other traders will consider very basic so please bear with me. if any of you can chip in please do

1) With RSI Divergence are you refering to a movement in price in one direction and an movement with RSI indictor in opposite direction in the OS/OB region. Please clarify

2) What do you mean by several moves/pushes/waves in one direction

3) What do you mean by consolidation?

4) What do you mean by exhaustion.

rs1(8) 20, 80.

Thanks for sharing your results. I'm trying the eur/usd m1 too, however my RSI indicator doesn't fall from above below 80 or raise above 20 sixteen times a day as you seem to accomplish...

I'm using RSI with a 14 period and apply to 'close'. Are these settings ok?

Any chance you could help me with this ?

Use the RSI at 8.

Testing each “signal” getting the feel, overtrading,observing


(eastern standard time)
8:41 long -12
8:45 long +6
9:09 sell +6
9:23 buy -12
9:36 short +7 (doubled upx4 and now positive)
9:44 long +5 (doubled up x4)
10:07 short +4 (doubled up x4)
10:13 long +5 (doubled up x2)
10:30 long +5(doubled up x2)
10:45 short +8 (doubled upx2

additional trades today
10:57 long -12 (doubled up x2)
11:30 long +5 (doubled up x2)
4:00 long +5 (doubled up x2)

the rsi 6 has been key to good entries/ob above 70 and oversold below 30 key to good entries. good to mark chart and see the possibilities.
have 4 (1minute )charts up with a variety of indicators all basically around the bbands and the rsi
beginning to get the feel for eurusd
trading 7 1/2 hours and 10 winners and 3 losers
Good job on waiting for that 3rd push. You don't ever want to get caught in a breakout.

Glad you are getting a feel for it. Let me know how the 12 pip stop works out for you on the EUR going forward. When you say double up, are you increasing lot size as you average in?

Hey Farmhand I see you are using an RSI of 6.....that is getting pretty skinny and also notice your RSI settings are at 70:30 obviously this would show more buy/sell signals but does it not create more false signals than the 80:20 settings?

Hoss, how far do you let pa run when it turns against you before exiting the trade? For example, let's say you enter and price action starts to go in your favor by 2-3 pips but stalls and goes back below where you entered?
